SEGA Pico Case Template
So who wants to talk baby games?
Pico, an early edutainment game console by Sega from 1993-94, utilized big book-esque cartridges with turnable pages.
These cartridges, officially called "Storyware," shipped in custom clamshell cases in Japan (and Italy, apparently), and cardboard everywhere else.
Only 20 games shipped in the US, less in Europe, but lasted over 10 years in Japan until a successor launched.
Sega Retro had some scans of the Japanese clamshell inserts, and lately, kind of a whim, I started building a template for Sega Pico.
Focused on the US design. The big hurdle is the lack of scans (for the screenshots on the back, and the cover pages of the 'book').
Not sure how much mileage people will get out of it, seeing how obscure the platform is, and how hard those cases are to come by.
In any case, I want to get some feedback before I finalize the template and release it, so here's a preview of what to expect.
