I decided a few months back to try and get all the missing Genesis covers completed and uploaded to the main site.
I didn't realise quite how many were missing at the time, and hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew. :)
I'm gonna start with NA first and then move on to PAL and JPN.
If anyone wants to contribute that would be awesome. I'm sure there's a few of these floating about on the forums somewhere but not uploaded yet (Just post the cover in here, and once it's been uploaded to the main site I'll check it off the list)
I also noticed that there are a few uploaded covers that are either scans or not very good quality I'll aim to correct these once the missing ones are completed.

I've got a good handful of these that I've acquired since I last posted covers to the site (which has been quite a while). Maybe I'll come out of my hiatus to knock a few of these out.
I have a some updated covers for Rocket Knight Adventures and Sol-Deace that have been sitting on my computer for a few years now too, but I never got around to uploading them since we lost the ability to replace old covers. I suppose I can just upload them anyway and we can delete the old ones if the feature ever becomes available again.

I was actually just thinking about creating a thread like this or one similar to the SNES horizontal thread to cover the entire catalog. I might still do one like the SNES thread if I get some time to get it together.
I should have scans of some of these or can provide scans if needed also. Thanks for getting on this!

No problem, I've been thinking about getting a list like that together for a while now so it was a good excuse to do it.
I must have missed that one. I got it updated!
There very well may be some issues with "completed" covers I missed but I spot checked most of them. If there are issues, they might be minor. I was using the scans at SegaRetro to compare when I thought there was something wrong / missing on a cover.
I'm going to try getting some of the Red stuff that I have scanned soon.
Also, if anyone is taking requests, I personally need Kawasaki Superbike Challenge, Legend of Galahad, and Exodus: Journey to the Promised Land :D I might see what I can throw together for them if I can find some time too.

I normally use MyFonts/WhatTheFont to identify all the fonts, but for some reason I couldn't get a result fro this, which is a first.
How did you identify the font, Is there a better source to find the fonts?
I did do the part number on the font but I must've turned the layer off and forgot to turn it back on. I'll update the cover in the next few days and re-post it for you.
Also thanks for all the raws they are gonna help me out loads.

I use a few different sites to try and track down fonts including the 2 you mentioned. In this case, https://www.whatfontis.com/ was the winner in finding it. Personally, I usually crop a few words down, switch them to black and white, and then use that to try and do the matching which usually works.
No problem on the scans! I think I found some Exodus scans that might work and I might give that cover a shot here soon if I get some free time.

What the Font is usually my go-to, but sometimes Font Spring pulls through when What the Font doesnt.

Ooops....thanks Badchad for pointing that out.
I did think it was a little odd that the Genesis logo was different on the spine and back; and should've known better.
I usually use Segaretro for some scans and images, but I noticed the scan was pretty dark for Technocop, and while doing a search on google I found a much clearer one which is what I used.
I'm guessing the cover I found was probably modified by someone else at some point and the crazy thing is, since I read you post, I searched again and can't find it for the life of me.
Very strange......
I will modify it in a day or so and repost it.
Shall I just re-upload the new version to the site?

All good, it happens! And sure, might as well. We can always replace the old one with a custom version (maybe a red stripe conversion) when/if the feature becomes available again.

I know what you mean about screenshots, thats something that I struggle with if they aren't very clear on the scans. I usually try my best to match them to the originals if I can but can be difficult sometimes. The places I normally look are Mobygames, Gamefabrique and screen grabs from youtube.
Is there a good place for screenshots that I'm missing?
I've also start work on your 3 requests and should have them done pretty soon.

I've been having internet connection problems lately and not got as much done as I'd have liked, I should be able to get SPOT Goes to Hollywood and Rolo to the Rescue posted later today though. Some of the screenshots aren't from the the retail covers though, but let me know what you think and I can change them if needed.

SPOT is about 90% done and Pinocchio is about 50%,
I did what I could with no internet, and now that our internet connection is finally sorted out I should get them finished quite quickly.
