Title: NES, SNES, N64 Keepcases
Post by: chazparks on January 24, 2010, 03:18:54 PM
Is there a place that sells keepcases that fit NES, SNES, N64 games where a paper insert can be placed on the outside.

Similiar cases are those for the Genesis, DVDs, XBox, PS2 items.

You are looking for UGC, or Universal Game Cases (they don't fit NES games originally, but some elbow grease and tools will allow them to fit)

More on UGC's here

I work at a Family Video.  They don't sell or know anyone around me (Pa, USA) that sells in a retail/private store.  Ordering online is simple, and only costs $0.42 a case  :D

You have to order 100 at a time though and if you live outside of the US it's unaffordable to ship. ;)

I still find that unaffordable... as in $20 on shipping empty cases seems far too much

$68 shipped makes them 68cents each...totally worth it. I just got some right after christmas...totally want more.

I have about 20 or so cases, just bought 100 more (yesterday) for $63.54.  I am completely happy with the price.

You could just go to Ebay and buy the lot of 10 someone has for 19.99 + 9.99 shipping.  10 cases for $30... hahahaha... your complaining about $0.62  :D Someone just bought their cases for $3/each

Think for a second the size of a box filled with 100 of these things and you'll see why shipping is so much, it has to ship oversize.

I think that's pretty reasonable too. Just look at the prices for other game cases. 0.68 per case is dirt cheap in my oppinion. I payed around 140 dollar for one box and still when calculated in Euro it was around 1 Euro a case which still is a good enough deal for me. This was just possible because someone nice from our community bought them and creshipped them to me because the shop wanted around 200 dollars for shipping!!!!

I always think if you want sth to look nice you have to invest a little. ;)

It's been a while, but I recall spending almost $200 on shipping when I ordered 500 UMCs. Whipping sucks, but its something you have to put up with. I just cant wait till I decide to buy an arcade cabinet for my rec room!
