i am absolutely torn about this one..... the jewel cases give me such nostalgic feelings , but they are not the sturdiest cases, and the dvd cases are much better protectin (as well as much prettier.
hrmmmm, although i have lunar and arc the lad in the really nice big boxes, and i dont think i could stomaach switching those over, so many difficult choices, lol.
just thought i would vent my frustration, as im sure im not th only one who has ever struggle4d with this choice, heh ;D

i clip the original front and back of the Jewel Case artwork inside my DVD cases. The DVD cases hold the discs MUCH better and are much stronger and protective if they drop off the shelf.

The nostalgic-yet-durable choice is to go with DVD cases that use a vertical style.

You get the protection, but you also keep your PS1 games looking like the longboxes that they were originally made with.

half-height DVD cases is the solution. They're the same dimensions as a CD case but are far more durable.
You don't have to get rid of your old boxes you know, just hold onto them.

Certainly, don't get rid of the boxes. I usually store them away somewhere safe where people won't grab at 'em.

by no means would i ever consider getting rid of the original cases, yikes...
but i think im sold guys, time to buy yet another box of dvd cases, heh.

I have more of a mind to stick to Jewel case. Fragile yes but I take care of my stuff well enough and I like it the way it was.
