Title: HELP: How do I clean my scans?
Post by: BittahBandit on December 29, 2021, 01:33:55 PM
My printer is a piece of trash, and when I scan anything, there's these disgusting rainbow artifacts on the image. Can anyone show me how to filter this out?

Try to find an option called moire removal (aka descreen or de-rasterize) that should help.
Some covers cannot be scanned well and result those crappy images but usually those can be fixed afterwards using some tricks that are bit beyond my skill set but I think Gaussian blur at small radius is one of the tricks.
