Title: Sega CD/Saturn case equivilant?
Post by: gutcruncher on December 23, 2009, 01:22:29 AM
Im not dumb enough to think I can find Saturn or Sega CD replacement jewel cases, but are there any other kinds of CD cases that are tall enough to contain the game's manual? Incase you need a visual

The books are slightly too tall to fit, making me very sad.

I found this online... The case is actually a bit taller than a standard SCD/SAT case (just under 10 inches tall) but it might be what you are looking for.

Unfortunately the only site I see that sells them has a order minimum of 20,000 units.

best bet is to find auctions for old sports titles or bundles that are cheap and just use the cases for the games you care about  i found a bunch of old nba and madden titles for a couple bucks a piece at my local shop and bought them all to replace my  Missing/damaged  jewl cases

What would those be called? Of course I wont want 2000 of them, but knowing what Im looking for would help the search. Having 4 spots for disks seems pretty awesome too, what was Sega thinking making people keep multidisk games in a stack of paper sleeves?

Either way, Beastman gave me an idea. Theres a store near me that I remember had a bunch of copies of Prize Fighter. Unfortunately, he isnt known for his low prices. I should check it out either way.
