So this last weekend I worked from Friday night till 9AM this morning on game cases and getting things ironed out with the Game Gear cases, photos, putting together images together for a newsletter, and filling loads of orders.
I went to bed late last night and I decided to throw this together.

I've never used 'GoFundMe' before so on a whim I put this up. The Virtual Boy cases would be such an easy collection to knock out and complete! It's downfall is the number of games for it and the turn around time for the mold and production run costs. But! I can tell you, with all the different variations to the majority of the game collections out there in the world, the VB collection would be easy to finish. lol
I've been so busy lately with everything I just felt like I wanted build another case ASAP. So! Link is above, tell anyone who might be interested in this and let's get these cases out there. ;)
(PS. I really only need the "Campaign" to bring in $8,000 or so, if it got to that point I'd put the rest of the funds needed in myself and just wait for my next large production run to include them in there. If I DO get to the $15k mark, that should cover MOST of my costs, and whatever is remaining my factory is willing to put it on my tab, but I'd be able to get these cases in the door within 6-8 weeks from now.)

Just want to ask one question.
I know that this case is going to be needed at some point, i personally have think on buying a Virtual boy. But, don't you think is better to put first another case that you will get back the investment faster and let this one for later?
Just thinking... ;D
another case that you can accommodate several cartridges like the Nes, Snes, N64, or the Gameboy one.

I don't own a Virtual Boy, nor do I ever plan to, but I still wish you the best of luck in getting this to happen.

Yes, that is a good point. :) I think I did it just as a test to see what happens with it. It is such a simple set and a very easy one to add to the group. One of the things I'm dealing with, with the Game Gear is the lack of systematically launching the product on my part. Like I said before in another thread; I just need to lock myself away for a few days, drink a 2-liter Mountain Dew and just get them up! :)

I don't have a Virtual Boy, but if I came across one, at a descent price I would get one. It would be nice that the cases would be available.
I may donate anyway, but I've been waiting to get some Game Gear cases so most of the money would go to that.
Will the GG cases will available with & "without" covers? While I like some of the coverproject, I tend to want covers as close to the original with only a few tweaks. If the original box art was vertical orientation I like a vertical cover. Each console had its distinction in the way they were designed, packaged & etc...just my opinion
Would like to see ATARI 2600, 5200, 7800, ColecoVision, Intellivision etc cases. I'm am glad you have the drive and interest in Viritual Boy cases, for those who have the games that's very good!

I would back this if it was on Kickstarter or Indiegogo... but a... gofundme... doesn't offer rewards for backing. As selfish as that sounds... I don't have the money to just "give".

I have to be honest, I agree here.

Me too.
I'd be happy even with signed case with Thank you [name of funder].
Or minor discount when the cases come out.
I might still give something when I get some extra money.

Kick Starter may be better.

Agreed. I have a real hard time giving money to GoFundMe and then paying money later to actually buy them.

This would be awesome! I'd help out if I could but you know I'm broke as $&@# lol. But I will share it on my social medias for sure. :)

Tell all your buddies who would want to snatch these up! ;)

Are you planning on making black virtual boy cases or just the red ones?

I got mine set last weekend! They look amazing! My only problem with having the full set is that now I want the super rare games to put in the cases! Definitely going to have to settle for repros if I'm going to do that XD.
