Title: Request: SNES Return of The Double Dragon
Post by: travistouchdown on January 22, 2019, 09:38:34 AM
This was recently re-released:

https://www.amazon.com/Retroism-Return-Double-Dragon-Compatible-nintendo/dp/B07D8PLN4L/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Return+of+the+Double+Dragon&qid=1548167040&sr=8-1

Engligh translation of Japanese version of Double Dragon for SNES

Anyone happen to have a custom for this yet?  If not would anyone be willing to make one?

Mine's already in a UGC and ready for some art love.  Thanks!

Cool!  600 DPI with Descreen on would be great.

Are these usable?  My scanner is an HP all in one...  :-\

Hey man, the back ain't bad but the front looks a little blurry towards the middle.  We usually recommend flatting the box out when scanning and getting the whole thing as flat as possible. Also see if your scanning software has a descreen option.

That makes sense; will try again tomorrow with the box broken down!  Thanks Bear.

Hey man, do you know if you can change the DPI on your scanner?  These are 200 DPI which I can work with but might come out a bit blurry in the end.

I can't.  I tried to look for settings for the things you mentioned and it's pretty bare bones HP scanner from 2012 era.

Does anyone else on here have this game and would be up for a scan?

What's the model number of your device?

Also, when I do make these, do you want it put into the standard SNES template or did you want to keep it retail as in the generic branding it currently has?

It's a HP Photosmart Series 5520 all-in-one.

Printer, Scanner, Copier, Photos, and Cinco Midi Organizer.

The SNES template would be great and makes things a little easier?

It's a HP Photosmart Series 5520 all-in-one.

Ok, according to the manual, you can do up to 1200 DPI on that scanner.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03353113

If you never did,  I would download and install the full feature software / driver set: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-photosmart-5520-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5157533/model/5157535/swItemId/mp-108807-3

HP Scan should be included in this package.  Launch that and when you do a "save as jpeg" there should be a More option with some advanced features.  In that area, there should be a spot for resolution (DPI).  This is where you want to change it to 600.
