Two things about that:
1. My stuff is hand-made, so it's going to be limited, no matter what.
2. That's not my issue with it. Not at all. It's just weak, from a design standpoint.

I don't have one, but did you hear of the "hack" to enable emulator options? If you plug in certain keyboards and press ESC while a game is running, you can force NTSC for the stupid PAL games and enable scanlines. Maybe you can even get other USB controllers working by changing the button config.

It’s such a turd. The image quality is absolute crap too.
I’m sure it’ll get hacked in no time, but I really don’t care. I don’t play games via emulation anyway. Just another piece of hardware that I wanted in the collection.

I'm waiting to get mine when the price drops, which I'm sure it will soon. Regardless of what went wrong with it, I still want one for the same reason I wanted it from the beginning. The PS1 is my favorite console and I love the look of it. I have no intentions of playing it any more then I did with my NES or SNES Classics.

Personally, I use the NES/ SNES Classic as if they are the originals. I have them hacked to have all the games I want besides light gun and other accessories that don't work on them. I don't care about CRTs anymore. If I can't use it via HDMI or component, I don't want it.

I would snag one just for the aesthetic of the thing, but I just can't justify paying that much for something I wouldn't use. There just aren't enough games I'm interested in on it and combined with the sub par emulation quality I've been hearing about, I just would never touch the thing. It's a real shame cause if the emulation was better I would grab it in a heartbeat.

So, is yours coming DHL? Is DHL always this fucking shitty? I was excited at first because it said at the top I'd receive it yesterday, and now it says "well.. uh.. I don't know..." Why in the actual fuck would it go from Japan to Cincinnati, OH, USA, then instead of Florida, USA, it goes to fucking Germany, then Spain! What the hell? WHY?? It was ALREADY IN THE DAMN US! FUCK DHL!

I got this month a 27" Panasonic Crt TV as part of a payment from a friend. Also on the picture an Ikea table for the Crt TV.

I haven't really posted in a while. Life happens.
But I did grad some new stuff in the past few days.
First off, some new Switch goodness. And the 8Bitdo Gbros blutooth gamecube adapter. This thing is awesome. Works great, no noticeable lag, and I can sit on the couch with my gamecube controller.

Also had some local gamestore pickups. Got these three for $54 w/ tax. Pretty good overall, and one step closer to completing all the PS1 rpgs.

Lastly, a local collector was clearing out some of his stock. He had a huge garage sale type sale for everything. Seems like a nice guy. He said I could have this lot for $200. I wanted to make sure, and pointed out that Magic Knight Rayearth could probably fetch close to that by itself, but the guy said he just wanted it gone. Needs the space, needs the money.

Call DHL. They are by far and away the BEST parcel carrier out there. They’ll get you sorted out quickly.

Thanks, I called DHL. I was thinking DHL was pretty awesome at first, Japan to Ohio in one day? Too bad I don't live in Ohio anymore. Then I was pretty mad when I saw Germany and Spain on there! I called DHL and they said there was two duplicate tracking numbers, which happens when the numbers get removed used sometimes. Anyway, mine's in Miami now and should be near me in the Orlando area tomorrow (Monday).

Finally got my DHL package today from Amazon Japan.
Could only afford the normal edition, but that's OK, I only wanted the cartridge anyway. Don't care much for "toys/ collectables" much these days, with a few minor exceptions.
Once I get a new scanner, I'll upload the inner and outer covers and also create an English Capcom Beat Em Up Bundle version.

I never quite understood it myself until my oldest son was to the point where he could really understand what was going on during Christmas and get excited (which was last year). This year, my youngest son will also be old enough to truly be excited, so it's going to be a lot of fun watching the two of them open stuff.
Hell, just watching them get excited about the Elf on a Shelf is fun. The other night, I setup the elf to be zip lining from the TV to the Christmas tree. The next morning, when my kids found him, they were so excited, I thought they were going to lose their minds.

The art book was a pre-order bonus I think BUT I didn't pre-order and still got it. Just bought it directly from Amazon. You will have to setup a different account for Amazon Japan (you can use your same email as your US account though).

Got some early birthday presents to myself...
I was at a local game store and found a really great condition Shadow Gate 64, CIB, for $25. I also found the two Pokemon GC games for $25 each. Both are CIB but have some scratches, however they play fine. Bushido blade 2 was a goodwill pickup for $3.99
Finally, I just meandered into a Best Buy in Southern California (kind of in the middle of nowhere) and they have not only a Super Smash Ultimate set, but also a Super Mario Party set. I don't think I've ever seen either of these in a store before, and since my Gamer's Club Unlocked is still valid, I got these for 20% off so I jumped.

Good news! PayPal is refunding me full amount plus what I payed for shipping. Shitty part is I haver to mail this back to HK on my dime, but that fine I will take the refund and just buy this game on Ebay.

Outrun is the very uncommon 1990 U.S. re-release with the blue label and alternate box art. This one is extremely tough to find complete. The manual is the same as the original except it has the 1990 copyright on the back.
Galaga 91, aka Galaga 88, was never released in the U.S. Luckily, Game Gear cartridges are region free. I can finally play some Galaga on my GG.

I'm pretty happy with it considering how much it was marked down. Are you going to order the deck protectors? I ordered one for mine, but I don't have it yet. If they get any cheaper, I might buy a second one. Specifically the SFII cab because it's the best one to mod due to the extra buttons.
I got a riser with mine as well, but I haven't put it together yet because it's currently the perfect height for my boys without the riser, so I will leave it that way for now.

I like them quite a bit actually and my daughters love them, though the 3 year old seems to die a lot on Pac-Man that doesn't stop her from playing. I haven't gotten any deck protectors yet, I will look into them as to preserve the machines from constant use. I do plan on purchasing the Final Fight/Ghosts n Goblins/1944/Strider machine when it becomes available this Spring. I am considering purchasing the Galaxian/Galaga and Street Fighter II machines, funds are just a little sparse at the moment (Also convincing my wife that getting them is another factor).

The nice thing about Rampage, is that no matter how many times my son dies, he can just respawn and keep going. Basically, it's a play it until you quit, rather than play it until you get a game over.

Depends on where you go and what the sales were. I found several for 200 dollars at FYE after Christmas. I got the rampage and pac-man for my family on Black Friday for 200 dollars each.
I am happy with the machines as I am able to share the same nostalgia of the old arcades with my daughters and build new memories with them on these arcades.

It was very hit or miss with the prices of the 1Up Arcades around here, but the Wal-Mart by my office had them down to $150 right before Christmas.
