Just celebrated my 40th birthday a couple of weeks back. My ancient Sony DLP died some months back, which was a real drag since it was my ultimate gamer TV (240p Natively, plus up to 1080i with a MASSIVE amount of inputs). Anyway, the Sony is dead, long live the Sony.

Got a decent deal on this Xbox1X with elite controller on craigslist for $400. Guy was a very close drive from me. I don't know how good of an upgrade it will be though because I have a 1080p tv.

This isn't exactly true. Games that have a dynamic resolution should run closer to 1080p most of the time and some games have a higher frame rate on X. Even though I have a 4k TV, I usually choose 1080/60 over 4k/30 if there is a choice.

I want to get one of these as well, but I don't want to buy the games. I want this with either the new SD flash cart or one of those cheaper multi MVS carts.
Was I reading correctly that you can use Saturn controllers with this? If so, that makes it even more tempting because I wouldn't have to buy a controller.

Dude, just grab one if you have any desire to do so. They’re not gonna be up there forever. He’s using the 1C board too. Expensive and sought after for consolized MVS. Worst that could happen, you sit on it for a year or so, then sell it for WAY more. The price is sort of unbelievable.

It’s the R button on a Saturn controller. Not sure how it works with a new geo pad or stick.

Well, I pulled the trigger last night and bought one. I also ordered a 161 in 1 multi cart which will cover me for a while until I decide to shell out the cash for an actual NeoSD. As I mentioned last month, I still had one open slot on my Extron switcher, so it will be nice to fill that slot. I'm just not sure where I will actually put the console itself since I don't have any open spaces on my shelf. I guess it might replace my Neo Geo X dock since I don't really have any actual use for it, especially now.

Nice set of pickups there. Woolly World is my second favorite Wii U game and Super Paper Mario is a lot better than most people give it credit for. It's certainly not as good as the first two Paper Mario games, but it's still a lot of fun and one of my favorite Wii games. NSMB U is a lot of fun as well, but being one of the last NSMB games, the repetitive nature of the series starts to show. I've never gotten into the Galaxy games, but I've heard good things. I just don't get much enjoyment out of 3D Mario games.

Took the family to the mall today. In one of the toy stores, they had a Chinese NES Classic ripoff on display. The worker was super excited when he saw me looking at it. He said, "For $60, you get 500 games!!!! Can you even imagine that many games?" I of course didn't say anything back. I just thought to myself, 500 games....... that's cute. 8)

I also got a drone to play with. All in all not a bad pickup for 25 bucks for the lot.

I never got into the Galaxy games either. I skipped the Wii as it looked terrible. The idea of swinging your arms around with the Fisher Price looking Wii mote. Looked far too kiddy for me. Picked up the Galaxy games when I bought the Wii U. Hated flicking the Wiimote to make Mario Jump. Just felt like such a chore only finished the first game, couldn't bring myself to play the second game.

First, went by a local flea market and grabbed these. I was really excited to find Blade Runner as I had been looking for it for a while.

It's PC only. Supposedly the original code has been lost and the licensing is a nightmare so it will never come to GOG or other services. The only legal way to own it is this.

Three Games in PC Big Box in 3 different conditions.
Siedler 3 (Settlers 3) is probably the best game of all time in Germany, because you can still buy NEW DVD-Releases of the Gold Edition
in every f****g store, even though this is a Win95/98-game... But the Big Box Release has nostalgic value for me.
The Orange Game is the full game with everything still in the box.
The Green Box is a... Mission-based DLC and a level editor, which is STILL WRAPPED after all these years :D
The Purple Box is a real "DLC" with a new Race (The Amazons :)) and a new campaign. This version comes with the base game included... and this
particular box just came with the game itself...
Still looking for a cheap Gold Edition-Big Box, which looks REALLY nice and the standard Purple Amazons-Box without the base game and all its goodies. :)
The DS Flash Cart is only the box, I tried to reproduce based on low quality images of the original packaging. ^^°

Bought this on Ebay. I paid top dollar ($90), but it's absolutely mint, and includes the original memory card stickers - I'm a sucker for unique inserts in retro games. The Raiden games are among my favorite all time shooters, and I believe this is the only home port of Raiden II.

Also some 8bitdo goodies. My two personal Bluetooth SNES controllers ended up being used for RCG prototypes/products, so these will stay with me. I didn't realize that the other two are ONLY for the SNES and NES classic consoles :-\ At least they were a LOT cheaper than their Bluetooth counterparts.
The Crash disc was made by a friend in limited quantities. I think it has a soundtrack disc inside and DL code for the games on PS4. I have yet to open it.

My first flea market find in well over a year. This was from Saturday, but I didn't get a chance to actually go through it all for pictures until tonight.
I've been causally looking for a second NES and Wii for some mod work because I want to keep my original units.........well, original.
The rest of the stuff is pretty dirty, but it was cheap enough to risk it not working. There are a few doubles in there too including Chrono Cross, so it will be for sale if it works when I test it.
Also, Starfox Adventures is missing its disc, but the game is cheap enough from GameStop, and in this instance, it won't matter to me if they ship it disc only.

And there it was: European copy of Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition.
Probably been there for 12 hours or so.
Day later than I expected.
Well gotta go to work in 15 minutes so probably playing tomorrow or next week, I'm not in hurry.

Honestly iit is sad to see little shops die but I can understand why. I mean when you walk into the store and see something you trade in for a dollar marked up to 50 (yes a 5000% markup) You tend to get pissed off and never go back.

Please let me know what you think! I've been debating on picking one up. However I really like the look of the "ultimate" one with polished steel. Ill have to get one eventually, I imagine they're only making a limited number of these things.

Went and hit up the V-Stock and Half Price Books sales. Found some good RPGs I had been looking for and picked up a GBA Capcom collection since it had Mighty Final Fight on it. The Lunar puppet was a cool surprise and $14 after the sale discount. I was really excited to find The Dig big box which appears to be sealed! Also grabbed the only physical version of Braid out there.

Went and hit up the V-Stock and Half Price Books sales. Found some good RPGs I had been looking for and picked up a GBA Capcom collection since it had Mighty Final Fight on it. The Lunar puppet was a cool surprise and $14 after the sale discount. I was really excited to find The Dig big box which appears to be sealed! Also grabbed the only physical version of Braid out there.
Very nice score Bear. That puppet is a rare thing in Alabama. Back when the game released, the resellers would put 5 down to preorder, get the puppet, cancel the preorder ,then rinse and repeat. Thankfully I got mine.

The multi-cart arrived on Friday, but I was gone all holiday weekend, so I couldn't play anything until yesterday. I'm really enjoying this thing and it's nice finally having a way to play Neo Geo games on original hardware. One of my favorite things about it is the ability to use Saturn controllers. I really want a proper Neo Geo CD controller, but since I can use my Saturn controller, I can now shop around to find a good price instead of impulse buying one on eBay. Also, the multi-cart isn't perfect, but it has most of the games I want to play, and it's cheaper than the Neo SD, which I will probably buy down the road.

Had a few more pick ups yesterday. Excited to find Zomibe vs Ambulance on the PS2 lol. Also got the 2 PS4 games and the Spinner from the TRU clearance.

I love it! it is super comfy and it can turn into a bed. it has 2 backrest positions. the one pictured is the slightly reclined and the other is straight up. I really love the cupholders and the storage in the arms.
