Title: US Mega Man NES Covers with Japanese Artwork
Post by: MannyCa1avera on February 06, 2018, 10:06:21 AM: While the (sometimes) questionable artwork on the US Mega Man covers will always hold a special place in my heart, there's little denying that the Japanese cover art is vastly superior on every title. With that in mind, and with the help of marioxb's unified Mega Man cover template found here,:

I've created some new covers that combine the classic Capcom NES format with the Japanese artwork. They're not perfect, but I think they get the job done. Please feel free to let me know what you think.

Edit: Using marioxb's template as a guide, I've sourced a combination of original artwork and existing cover art to create newer, higher resolution versions of my covers.

Hi there! I'm glad you found this post. I didn't want to muddy your original topic with a link to this one. That's awesome that you got the book scanned. I'm really looking forward to seeing your covers. I really enjoyed making mine, but I'm no graphic artist.
