I cannot believe that Capcom finally decided to do something with him other than selling merch! Not only are they putting Legacy Collection 1 and 2 on the Switch but they're also doing all the Mega Man X games for all current consoles! Even better is that they've decided to do Mega Man 11! I'm so glad that Mega Man has a chance to get back into the gaming spotlight again. What's everyone here think?

This also makes that concept art in Legacy Collection 2 finally make sense!

I don't really care too much about the old Mega Man games getting released yet again, but I am super excited for Mega Man 11. I'm surprised it's taken Capcom this long to make a new Mega Man game. I really hope it gets released on physical media, but I'm not holding my breath.
-
Even if the Mega man 11 is not on physical media I will probably get the game. However physical media is my preferred way of owning the game. I do look forward to playing it when it comes out. Mega man X series on the all the systems is something I look forward to seeing also.

I'm glad that they're getting put on the Switch finally. It was super weird to me that Capcom didn't trust the Switch enough to put a compilation on the system, that has to be less work than creating a whole new game. But personally, I love Mega Man 9 and 10 so it's great to finally have them portable! I would love a physical release for 11, but I'm getting it regardless. Hopefully this makes Capcom realize that they've basically been turning away money by not releasing a new Mega Man themselves since 8.

2.5D.
Yuck.
-
Eh. I don't really have too much of a problem with it. It does leave a bit of a Mighty No. 9 bitterness but I think Capcom will pull it off better (hopefully). I've seen people complain about the 8-bit style of 9 and 10 too so I guess they decided to switch it up.
-
I don't mind the "not really but kind of" 2.5 D. Yes it looks like Mighty Number 9, but of all the problems with that game, the visuals weren't one of them.
In a Mega Man game, it's the gameplay that trumps all - see the PSP remake Mega Man Powered Up (where the developers basically enabled Big Head cheat for the whole game). Looked "meh" played amazing. As long as 11 plays like a solid MM game, I will be thrilled.
We survived the voice acting of Mega Man 8. We can survive anything!
-
I'm excited. I'll buy it. I wish they'd go with hand drawn animation.

That voice acting is the only reason that I call Bass "Bass" instead of "Base".

Which is funny, because it's supposed to be pronounced Base (as in Treble & Bass)

Ya. I know it's wrong but Mega Man called him like the fish in the opening so it's canon! lol

Leeeet's not get carried away with holding dialogue in MM8 canon...otherwise the villain will be Dr Wy-wee and Mega Man has yet to hit puberty
-
To be honest, I never really minded the voice for Mega Man. Light on the other had definitely had one-to-many drinks before recording!

2.5D.
Yuck.
Worked amazing for Metroid. Then again Nintendo actually cares unlike Capcom the no new ideas studio.

I disagree. Still yuck.
2.5D is always yuck. It's just a matter of how much yuck.

I think it can work. I still enjoy the New Super Mario Bros series.
But in general, I much prefer regular 2D over 2.5D.

^^^ pretty much.

For making us Nintendo fans wait so long, they should put Mega Man 1-11 all on one cartridge, with the full Disney Afternoon Collection unlockable as extras!
