We should just have a trade thread, at the very least. If not a forum for trading

We won't take responsibility thus we don' have official area or topic.
But if someone wan'ts to trade they can make their own topic from which others can buy a their own risk.
We do have few.

Went to Walmart today to buy paper towel.  Decided to check out the electronics section, and look and behold there were 3 SNES classics just sitting there waiting for me.  Now to get home and crack it open.

Went to my target to see the clearance.  asked the kid working the counter. He said "oh me and a few other guys buy that stuff up and resell on ebay."

Damnit.

Finally got it home, but rather than playing and reviewing, I cracked it open and tried screwing around with it a bit.  Unfortunately, unlike the NES classic, the original SNES/SFC controller and buttons are not compatible as replacement parts.

Nice! All I get for presents is clothes. :( And I still hate getting clothes as much as I did when I was a kid, unless they are cool Nintendo or super hero t shirts.

Definitely.  I have it on my OUYA, but it's nice to have a physical copy of it.

not sure this counts but I got a 1 ft S-video cable to go between my pro selector and pro selector 2 from www.cableup.com  It is a really rare thing to find s-video under 3 ft.
I also got a NES advantage that was in really bad shape. I had to clean the contact pads, clean the soda that was spilled on the case and got on the board. Resolder the up wire. and finally I took an extra step and used white lithium grease on the ball and socket joint for the stick. Thing is very nice and smooth now.

I have a confession to make Wiggy. I used a hobby saw on my PSP stand from you to make it where it could sit in the stand and charge at the same time.

I am still not ready to do a full game room setup, but I have used the unit and really like the results. It has not failed on any of the televisions and it has not failed on the upscaler I use either. I have not checked with my capture card yet.

I’m pretty excited to have the whole family of Classics :D. Well, save for the PAL units, which I may eventually get (the SNES anyway. The NES is entirely identical, save for the box).

It was a black stand, I took my time and it looks great. Super happy that it can charge and display at the same time.

A couple of the most notable pickups over the past week! Games I wish I had bought years ago when I had many chances to get them for much cheaper. Oh well, I have them now and this complete my Contra and Mega Man collections.

(http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/ffae/eqzu8orj1uybrys6g.jpg) (http://www.mediafire.com/view/?eqzu8orj1uybrys)

And everything else I picked up last week at our only local game expo in town "Northern Game Expo". Had my own table with a bunch of stuff for sale, and made a killing, so I spoiled myself a bit with pickups! Also picked up Mega Man X6 which completes my my Mega Man X collection too!

Some sad news in my pick ups and then some good news i guess?

Sad news first.
Just over a week ago the fiance and I had to put down our 12y/o Boxer.  Was old age and what not.  Was very hard on us both.  Here are some pics.  Poor girl I miss her a lot.  She was a well travled dog.  travled to about 14 states and seen more of the country than most people.

So I've made a few upgrades to my Neo Geo MVS lately that I've been meaning to do for a while now. Finally had the bar stools I bought years ago reupholstered in matching red, and put in a brand new set of joysticks and buttons. Also picked up a loose copy of Aero Fighters 2, as well a complete copy of Sengoku 3 (one of the more rare titles I wanted for the MVS). Last things I still wanna do is get my monitor re-capped, and build a nice matching bookshelf to put all my MVS games on! ;D

I too would like to get 6 of the old fat PS2s with the firewire connection for the ultimate Gran Turismo 3 single player set up.
Yes one can play single player with 6 screens.
If I remember correctly the screens go front view, 2 side views, back view, and last 2 screens were either 2 data screens, or data and highlights of other drivers (can't remember which).
The Gran Turismo Tokyo-Geneva has the same if I have understood correctly.

I never knew about this.  That sounds awesome.  Any chance that one of the extra screens you weren't sure about would be the "replay view?"

Why do they have to be fat PS2s?  There was a  time that I had at least 6 PS2, but 4 of them were slims.

Replay or highlights screen is possibility.

And only the old Phat ones have the Firewire port needed for linking the consoles. Ethernet was not supported in these games as it was not out yet.

Got a PS2 fat (2 controllers, 1 black and 1 crystal blue) and Xbox 360 slim (1 controller and the kinnect) off CL for 50.

had to open and clean the ps2 to get blue disc to play but other than that more consoles for my network player 2 setup.

Form a little research, I'm only finding as many as 3 screens for single player.  I've found six screen options, but it's for LAN multi player racing.  In this setup, one screen can be used for viewing the race if you have fewer than 6 players.

It looks like GT4 has the same option but uses the Ethernet connections which makes it compatible with all PS2s (as long as the fat models have network adapters).

The Time Crisis games are also good FireWire candidates.

The Little Nightmares pre-order came in a day early.

Also, Aven Colony is $10 new at Gamestop (thanks Bear for the heads up).

I am surprised that "The Little Nightmares" got another physical releases so soon with the extra DLC.

OK, I might then understood wrong.
I'll check the manuals if I come by them while re-arraging storage stuff.

3 screens is still pretty cool, and I technically have all the equipment I would need for 3 screens on GT4, except for a third copy of GT4 (which is what, $5?)

This reminds me that I still haven't done the 2 cool multiplayer things I've been planning quite a while:

1:
8 Gamecubes linked up to play 16 player Mario Kart Double Dash!!
For this I have all reguired things.

2:
16 Gamecubes with Game Boy Players linked together to play 16 player GB Faceball.
For this still require few cables and 8 Gamecubes with Game Boy Players.

----------------------------

Adding to these few ones that I have hardware and software:

3: Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles 4 player game using 5 Gamecubes.
4: Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (NGC version) 4 player game using 5 Gamecubes.
5: Legend of Zelda: Four Swords (GBA version) 4 player game using 4 Gamecubes.
6: Pacman VS 4 player game using 4 Gamecubes.
7: GBA Mario Kart or f-Zero 4 player game using 4 Gamecubes.

That's because there is no such thing. It's just a generic computer cable. (https://officedepot.scene7.com/is/image/officedepot/588091_vw_etz00_10671706?$OD%2DLarge$&wid=450&hei=450)

Yep.
To link 2 old Phat ones together you'll need 4/4 (4 pins in both ends) Firewire (or what so ny calls ilink) cable.
To link 6 of them you'll need six 6/4 cables and 6 port 6pin hub.
Not sure would 9/4 cables and hub work.

I was discussing this on Nintendo Age the other day, and while I didn't name you, I mentioned that I knew someone who was capable of 16 player single screen Mario Kart Double Dash.  The big question was whether or not anyone has this setup INCLUDING component cables for all GCs.  While I knew you had the equipment for the setup, I was assuming you were going with all composite video.

Yeah composite unfortunately, I only have one Component cable.
But I did order one of those HDMI dongle 3.0s and if that is as good as it seems I'll probably get 7 more of those.

Been a bit busy lately with little time to post, let alone play games.  But I picked up a few titles for Halloween.  Couldn't resist.  ;D
