Title: More than 2 Joycons?
Post by: marioxb on September 30, 2017, 08:28:36 AM
So, I don't really care much for the Joycons and would rather use regular (Pro Controllers or similar) controllers whenever possible. What games, if I was to play 2 or more players, require me to get more Joycons? I want to have enough controllers ready for if anyone comes over we can play any available game 4 or more players.

I know Arms requires two sets for 2 players to play the intended way. Just Dance, you can use a smartphone instead. I plan on getting a second Switch for my wife at some point ALMOST only for Pac-Man Vs., so there's our second set of Joycons there. If we have 2 sets of Joycons, and 4 (8?) Pro Controllers, (and 100 smartphones to play Lie Swatter on Jackbox Party Pack, just kidding) would that be enough to play with the maximum amount of players for every local play multiplayer Switch game? Are Just Dance, Arms and 1-2 Switch the only "motion-centric" games so far?

I mean this as a joke, but you're over here worrying about needing more than 2 Joycons. My Switch that I bought on release only came with 1 joycon. One was MISSING. Then when I contacted Nintendo, they sent me the WRONG one! They sent me the one I already had. Now I've got 2 left joycons  ::)
