Title: Multiple SNES Requests - Retail - US / NTSC Format
Post by: Sanoku on March 16, 2016, 05:01:02 AM
Hi there guys. I'm new here and I love this community and I thank all of you for making my hobby a reality.

I'm currently looking for a few SNES covers atm that I simply cannot find anywhere. I am looking for all of these in NTSC retail format:

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition - Thanks to Lunchbox7985.

Arcana

Biometal - Thanks to segamer.

Ghoul Patrol - Thanks to Spiden.

Thanks in advance I appreciate all the hard work everyone does and I understand if this takes some time.

Ghoul patrol has already been posted. I made it a year ago.

Oh has it? Where do I find it then? Because when I just search for it like you'd normally do in the search bar the search result finds it but I only see the PAL version.

@segamer

I see the Bio Metal one there now, thanks!

As for the Power Rangers and Arcana ones, those are not the versions I am looking for. I'm looking for the actual retail versions, not custom made ones. Unless I missed something and the links contained both.

Thank you so much for your help so far though and I'll be adding the Bio Metal one to the ones I have!

@Spiden

So sorry again, but I checked both your media fire and your box and all I see that comes close is the "Oh No More Zombies Ate My Neighbors" covers. I don't see any actual Ghoul Patrol ones. I looked through all the pages so again perhaps I am just not seeing it. Thank you both for responding.

The following covers won't be made until we have good scans of the boxes. Now, I have a scan of the front cover of MMPR: FE for PAL regions but not NTSC. The likely hood is if we get good scans, good covers will be made and they'll be posted to the main website.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition

Arcana

Oh trust me segamer, I know. :\

I just keep this post bumped in hope someone who by some chance has it and sees this.

I've been looking a long time myself for them as well and plan to share them if I find them. I'm patient and now it won't happen overnight.

Quite good.
Basically needs new screenshots, new SNS code and dust/scratch removal, and front needs some detail saving smoothing filter run maybe.
Still might not be site worthy but very close.

thankk you for the specific advice, thats what im looking for. i updated it, i dont know if im going to find "new" screenshots unless i went out and got ahold of the actual box. i ran a coup;ld filters over them, and realized those gray lines in the corner werent so great when i zoomed in on em, so i cleaned those up and retyped that tag like you suggested.

im using a tv as a monitor right now, and i was zoomed in, so i didnt even see those last couple sharing options, thanks for pointing those out in that other thread

oh and i fixed that scratch right by lord zedds hand, i guess i thought it was a lightning bolt at first, did you see other scratches? and i guess my real question is what else if anything, do you think could be dont with what ive got here,

im not claiming to be a master at photoshop, i know someone could make it look better, but short of getting a scan, how much better do you think this could get? im just trying to gauge what to strive for.

I'm on laptop with not so great screen so I can't see the covers well enough but I'll check your updated cover when I get home.
There was few very nociable marks on the front of your first submission , I'll point them out in the morning when I'm on better screen.

You might be abel to use this instead?  Not sure.. A little resizing required, but looks a little cleaner..

good find, but aside from being squished, its actually missing some on the right compared to the actual cover.

i stretched it over the other one, and it does look a lot cleaner, but it ends up looking too stretched.

thanks tho
