Title: DONE! Request ~~ Powerbase mini FM ~~
Post by: Madducky on December 25, 2015, 01:19:42 PM
A custom cover for the "Powerbase Mini FM." I don't have any art work for it, sorry.

Here's some artwork on stone age gamer's site:
http://www.stoneagegamer.com/powerbase-mini-fm.html

It looks like it would fit in the case okay.

This will be for a Genesis sized Shadowfox case.

Has anyone here ever made one?

I see that the NA cover is not on the site. I'll scan in my cover and upload it and I'll post a link for a Genesis size when I'm done.

I did two variations quite a while ago. I could do another variation for your needs.

Those look BEAUTIFUL!!!!!. I'll stick with the second one though as it actually has the Powerbase mini on it.

If you could though, I'm trying to stick with red stripe on my boxes when possible, do it in a red stripe theme? And also specify the FM of the Powerbase Mini fm?

Thanks. Your work looks great, I like the cover shot of all of the SMS boxes.

Something like this? Let me know if you need some text change.

That's a cool cover.  I've always thought that was a pretty cool device even though I have absolutely no need for one.

Nice cover. Just a few mistakes in the text on the bottom.  Firstly it cuts off before the end, there should be no 'the' in wonder boy in monsterland, and a y missing from volleyball.

Anyone know why it's not compatible with f16?

That looks beautiful, it will fit like a glove. This is Genesis case sized, right?

In the US, that game came on a card.

I wasn't going to get one either, until he made an FM one. So I sold my Mark III with FM module and paid for this, and I still had a little (lot!) of scratch left over. So it was a win, win, win situation.

Thanks for the quality check sheep :)
Here's version 2. I also changed "converter" to "mini FM" and the letter casing to reflect that product variant.

It's UGC, but you can convert it easily. See http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=6763.msg56181#msg56181

I'll try but on my Mac I just don't have any tools other than resizing it in the print preview screen.

Thanks for all of the help.

Using an Amiga for years has taught me how to do quick and dirty adjustments.

I printed the cover on letter saved paper (8.5 X 11) and after printing, trimmed an additional 1.2 mm from each side and now it looks great!

Thanks for the cover and all of the help, guys!

I did the FM sound mod on my Master System a while back.  But I'm glad you mentioned it because I think more people need to know about the FM sound options.  It really adds so much to the system.

The FM sound is great, but it's no SID 6581, but it adds so much to games that I've been playing for years. It's like finding a treasure right in your back yard.
