Title: Looking for SCAN of Sega Ages Vol 1 USA Saturn
Post by: Thor on October 12, 2015, 06:33:24 PM
Just as the subject says. Sega Ages Vol 1 for Saturn USA version. I can't seem to find a scan of it on any website and thecoverproject does not even have a DVD case designed for it with the Ages US game. I'd greatly appreciate a scan if at all possible. This is a very expensive game to get a hold of and I can't spend the $200 just to get it in box. Most of my games I buy loose for the Saturn.

So these are just raw scans. There's not much I could do about the way foil scans. However, you have something to work with.

I made one using those scans a while back. I'm thinking I'm going to fix the back text so that it's just white, or the same color as the title.

I think he's wants the scans for a long box Saturn case. At least, that was my understanding. None the less, you have two options now. :)

Yes I did want the long box scan, but since I had not seen a DVD case I was going to make one of those for the community. Not sure why your case has not been put up yet.

Thank you for the scans this will be very helpful to me!

I'm not sure either. Only a few covers I've ever made have made it onto the site. I'm sure there's a good reason why. I only wish I knew what it was.

The only thing that I would change on your DVD cover is what you already mentioned, and when I zoom in I see some residual color left over when you cleaned the image up (best place to see this is when you zoom in on the red dragon's hand). Though, I have seen much worse that has gotten put on the site. White text would make make it better even if the original is not in white. But everything on your DVD version looks like a direct copy of the original.

I'll have to look at that. I was messing with the color of the text and I tried white, orange, and yellow and decided to go with the same color as the title. I agree, it's a bit too dark and isn't very appealing. I think I'm going to go back to the white.

EDIT: Oh wow! How did I miss that? I'm going to go back over this with a fine toothed comb!
