What font do they use for this:

If you're referring to the font on the spine, it's probably some variant of Segoe, either Segoe UI or Segoe WP. It's the baseline font that M$ uses in most of its products.

Also that's an interesting take on the top banner/spine. I tried making a template like that myself, a couple years ago.
