Sorry if the topic title seems vague; wasn't sure how to properly word it. I suppose the real question to be asked here is what does everyone here think about the lack of use that the New 3DS' hardware seems to be getting? Back when they first released it, Nintendo was talking about the N3DS having superior hardware to the standard 3DS, boasting better processing power, among other things. It's been around six months since the NA release (nearly a year since it initially launched in Japan), and we're not really seeing much of that superior hardware being used to make N3DS exclusive titles.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the only N3DS exclusive to fully take advantage of the hardware so far has been Xenoblade 3D (and maybe The Binding of Isaac, if the eShop pic is correct). Even newer titles that have yet to come out seem to still be limited to the older 3DS models' hardware. I'm pretty sure that even the Hyrule Warriors port is gonna be limited to the older hardware; hopefully I'm wrong as a game like Hyrule Warriors would definitely benefit from extra processing power.
What are your thoughts on this?

I suspect, similar to the DSi, we won't see a plethora of games that are exclusive to the new, better hardware - but there will be games that are programmed to take advantage of the system when played on it. That's just my guess though.

We will not se a huge exclusive list. Maybe a few from Nintendo only since it will already devide the owner base. Same reason games dont only have the two stick option like the add on for the OG 3ds.

The new 3ds helps some of the games that are more resource intensive, like Smash Bros for example runs better on the 3DS.
But if you already have a 3ds it's not a worthwhile upgrade until there's more new 3ds exclusives.

I actually upgraded to the New 3DS day one because of the larger screen (I had a regular 3DS at the time). I'm just surprised that with the announcement of exclusives for the 3DS, there's only been one so far and it's been around 6 months now.
Also on a side note, you'd think that with all that processing power, the Pokemon games wouldn't show all those framerate drops :P

Speaking of Pokémon... Why haven't they realized that making an action adventure spinoff would make them millions yet?! Come on!! Adults play this game more than kids... I want to create my own character, be a good or bad guy, have my own house and fix it up for my Pokémon and I to live in, have a motorcycle, I actually want to throw my Pokéballs to catch Pokémon. All sortsa shit like that!
I want to be the leader of Team Reincarnate the Reason!!! Pew pew pow Kablowawow!!!
