I can't remember for sure, I think something similar to Tahoma. Maybe Helvetica?

Err, you don't have to.
This original  seal is extracted from genuine Nintendo pdf. Time saved.

Hi Man,

Yeah I saw that, but it's not exactly the same as the one that's been used on the old nes and snes boxes :)

Got a scan of it? I can do it if you need it to be 100% accurate.

that would be awesome!

here a link: https://www.google.be/search?q=ntsc+seal+of+quality&biw=1366&bih=623&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAWoVChMI48KWl76kxwIVArYaCh0D3AMJ#imgrc=yHhoUD14bNTwhM%3A

This is exactly how it looks like on the boxes only the trademark sign is not in the right place :)

If you can wait, I can get it done by the weekend. Unless someone else has it or beats me to it. Anywho, offer stands.

Subtile, but yes there are some differences:

Bottom one has:
-Registered (R) mark is at different location: at the end of quiality instead of nintendo
-The two ff don't touch each other
-The "y" in quality has a longer tail
-In general, letter seems to be fatter (wider)
-It shines  ;D

Damn, I'm good on finding differences, but this time I missed all that  :o. Maybe because they were apart from each other.

Hey, folks. Been a lurker for a long time, so I thought I'd finally contribute something. I'm bumping this thread because it looks like it was never resolved.

So, it's that damn "Q", right? The font is obviously some variation of Arial or Helvetica, but that "Q" throws it off every time. The only font I've found with that exact Q and which still resembles the rest of the font is called News Cycle. I made two new variations of the seal, the first one using the News Cycle font for the whole thing, and the second using a more standard font and only altering the Q. I also changed the overall color to a more pure gold:

New Seal, News Cycle font: http://www.mediafire.com/view/9izdeiuu4gbdh0x/New_Seal_1.png
New Seal, Arial Bold with "Q" altered: http://www.mediafire.com/view/skdrikn4i0o9h2o/New_Seal_2.png

Whad'ya think?
