I've never heard of this game. How is it that you know about it or even have one?

Is it really necessary to probe members about their requests?
Basically CycloDS is a device that's used to play homebrew apps on the Nintendo DS.

Yeah I have one, it doesn't really come in a normal ds box though.

I'm not really that good at making original material so I didn't try making a cover for it myself.

Yeaaaah... "homebrew". ;)

No, not really. But I can't help it if I don't know about half the games you guys do covers for.

I don't mean to go against a mod's decision, but calling the CycloDS a "piracy tool" is a bit erroneous. There are several fully legitimate applications that it's used for, including web browsers, multimedia players, drawing tools, and other things.

I would understand if it was a link to a mod chip site or something, but the CycloDS (and its equivalents) is no more of a "piracy tool" than a personal computer.

Yeah sure. I have an R4. I know what most people use it for. Maybe you're perfect in every way and have never used it for piracy. Maybe you have that kind of self control, but lots of people don't. I don't want TCP to be responsible for someone being able to pirate games that they were not able to before. Officially, TCP is against piracy anyway.
And if I were to, say, install a mod chip in a PS2, it could also run homebrew. So CycloDS and most modchips fall into the same category. (I know homebrew with modchips on some consoles haven't been figured out yet)

I don't even own a DS actually. I just happen to have a lot of friends who are heavily involved in the open source community, and I know they'd be the first to jump out and say that homebrew isn't necessarily piracy. I understand your concerns though, I just felt that I should express my own concerns as well. I know TCP is against piracy. After all, piracy kinda defeats the purpose of this site :P.
All this said, are we allowing a CycloDS cover here or not?

I love me a good homebrew, but that's really not what most people use that stuff for. A cover would be fine. We already have a R4 cover. among others.
