Title: Help finding Japanese font (Mel, the7k?)

I'm trying to find out exactly what font this is.  It's from the 1985 Super Mario Bros. instruction manual.

I found one. It's A-OTF Shin Go Pro R.

It's close, but not quite the same.  I'll use it if I can't find the exact font.  Here is a better example with more characters.
