I just picked this title up and, WOW it's good, highly recommended, educational and fun!
My question is this; Does anybody else here have the retail packaged card version? The case is very similar to the standard 3DS case, but it is a little thicker. All other signs and marks point to it being a legit release, it had a Nintendo security band imbedded in the wrapper, a price tag from the Louvre gift shop, and the game slides in just fine and has taken an update successfully on my US 3DS.
Do Euro 3DS games come in a thicker case?

Yes, very slightly. EU 3ds case is pretty much the same thickness as US NDS case.
-
Wow. Very jealous - I'd *love* to have a physical version of this.
For anyone interested, you can download the digital version from the eShop.
-
I didn't want the download version.
I got a friend of a friend of a friend that was in Paris to snag me one.
-
Yeah, I was just letting folks know the download version exists.
But I really want the physical version too. ;)

Uncle bob, my partner will be in Paris is May, and almost certainly do the rounds at the louvre. Let me know if you still want a copy.

How have I missed this.
I'd take 1 copy.

English, or Finnish if available?

I would also like a copy.

Actually both... maybe few different ones (max 10). :D
-
Just been told they have no US COPIES, AND NO EU FRENCH OR ENGLISH, I will see if they have Scandinavia ones for you Arseen.

OK.
BTW: Don't PAL ENG and FRA copies exist or are they just out at the moment?
-
How did I miss this thread?
Ugh.
I do still want one, but only in English. :(
The good thing is, they're region free - so any English copy would do.

Apparently no English at all in stock. Still not heard whether Finnish or other scandic ones were there for arseen.

Boo. Nintendo makes a cartridge that is only for sale at one place on the entire planet - they should make extra effort to make sure it's always in stock. :(

We went to the Louvre during our honeymoon last fall. They actually rent out 3DSs with headphones and this guide. I did't know if was their official guide, otherwise I would've definitely downloaded it beforehand and brought my own 3DS with me.
So if you are going to the Louvre, get this before you go!
-
I had no idea that these would become hard to get!
You would think that both the Louvre and Nintendo would demand to keep it in stock at the gift shop.
I hope that The Louvre Guide is not out of print!! This is easily one of the coolest things Nintendo has done.
