Title: Request- PS2 style PS1 DVD Cases. Original RAW Scans Included.
Post by: FoggyRock on February 24, 2015, 11:45:02 AM
I was wondering if it would be possible to get PS2 Style Standard DVD Cases made up for the following Playstation games. I have provided raw scans that I have done (albeit likely of sub-par quality).

I am assuming that you scanned your own PS1 covers. Would you be able to scan the covers at 600DPI with Descreen on if available? Would you be able to scan the back of the cover of Digimon  World 3? Thanks

[EDIT] All scans above are now given at 600dpi.

I can re-scan at 600 DPI, but I have a HP Envy 4500. I don't think it has any form of descreen option. If it does, I can't seem to find it at all.

I also don't have the back for Digimon World 3. only the Manual.

Alright, I re-scanned the front of Digimon World 3 at 600dpi. Here is what it looks like: http://www.mediafire.com/view/dhy67dc4vvd38wd/Digimon_World_3_(Front).jpg

I don't want to bother re-scanning the others before asking this. Does anyone know of a free program I can use to scan with descreening? I tried a bunch of programs to see if I could get one, but the only one that I could find was VueScan, which has watermarks unless you pay for it.

You do crazy good work, Mel! Thanks so much! I re-upped all the scans in 600dpi, and added the back and front inlays (because it never hurts to have more Art Assets, and for other people's benefit).

Also, if you need any PS2 RPG NTSC-U covers scanned, send me a message. I have most of the RPGs released on PS2, and I certainly don't mind. You are helping me out immensely.

Shameless Bump, with the addition of Digimon World 2 to the list of covers wanted, I managed to grab a copy earlier today. Exciting!

I apologize. I have corrected the information as such. Just was going by the "created by:" tag on the main site. I can also make my own scan of the original cover if needed if anyone wants to take on the project.

Shameless Bump! I'm almost at the end of casing every single game that I own. I just updated the main post with the few assorted games I have that are loose. I am gonna do up a list of every PS2 and PS3 title I own over the weekend and post it somewhere and offer to scan any of the games in my collection as well. It's all about sharing the wealth, after all!

[EDIT] List of PS2 Games I am willing to scan are up in the Raw Scans page.

Another Shameless Bump. I just made really poor quality cases for 25 japanese gameboy games with images found online. I really have been taking for granted the work required to make even the poor quality ones that I do. I appreciate any help you guys can give, but I totally understand if this request goes unanswered.
