Hello TCP! I have been working on a little something for people who want an alternative/replacement for Saturn longboxes other than DVD cases: an American-style CD jewel case template for Saturn games!

Here are the Photoshop files for the template:

Using the lovely graphical assets from Vt102's Saturn DVD template, as well as the formatting and other assets from Shenske's Dreamcast CD jewel case template, I have created a CD jewel case template for Sega Saturn games based off of the cases that came with copies of some Saturn games like Nights. It is not 100% identical to the official ones since the official one did not leave much space for game titles on the spine, but otherwise it is very similar. Having CD jewel cases available for Saturn games will be great since they take up a lot less space than DVD cases and especially Longbox CD cases, and they also will look nicer while mingling with your Japanese Saturn collection. It's a good option for people who want something that looks a little more "historically accurate" than DVD cases.
The front insert template is 2x wide so that it can be folded over after printing-- this gives you the option of adding additional artwork or graphics to look at while the case is open (or just the publisher logo, it's your choice). It also allows the insert to sit more securely in the front of the case, and simulates the appearance of a manual.
I only recently started collecting Saturn games, and the only game that I had on hand which didn't come with any sort of case was the old school FPS "Robotica." I made an example cover using it. I'll be doing other games too, though I don't have a to-do list or anything yet.

A very special thanks goes out to Vt102 and Shenske for laying down the groundwork for what would eventually become this case! I look forward to seeing what the community can do with it.
