I saw double dragon game gear on your list and got all excited.  Didn't know it had a gg release.  Then watched footage of it, and OHMYGODWHATDIDTHEYDOTOIT.  why not just a sms port?  They wrecked the music, the graphics, the gameplay, everything.  Why then am I still compelled to get the game?

Hey there Sheep. yeah I picked up the Game Gear about 7 years ago with all of these games and just had them sitting in an old box since then.  I'm not into modding cases and came across a thread where someone was using the clear DS cases or European ones (which we also get in Australia) and decided I better do something with these games. I still remember playing Double Dragon as a kid at the arcade in my home town (which was the fish and chip shop lol). 20 cents it use to cost (I know I'm old)  ;)

I used to play it in my local chippy too. lol.

Back in the 90's I had a game gear but never heard of double dragon for Game gear. I had double dragon back then on the nes.

Don't know why but I have the same feeling as sheep, and don't know why either

Just found another Game Gear game in one my of handheld game boxes, Streets of Rage. There's a cover for it by Section9agent but it looks like it needs a touch up.

 (http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/0107/vovwe6w134gvd9o4g.jpg) (http://www.mediafire.com/view/vovwe6w134gvd9o/streets%20of%20rage%20game%20gear.png)

If anyone can have a look at it would be much appreciated.  :) :) :)

UK PAL please. I uploaded the front of the box art that came with the game. http://www.mediafire.com/view/t19bw72f7eejr7s/Silent%20Hill%20PS2.bmp

Unfortunately  the guy I bought the game off use to travel around a lot back in the day and to save space he ditched the cases and only kept the art cover, manual and obviously the game. With Silent Hill 2 he only kept the front of the box.  :'(

I found WildfireZer0's Game Gear covers for Ecco the Dolphin and Mickey Mouse:Castle of Illusion but they're for UGCs. Was wondering if someone could convert them for DS cases please.  ;)

As I mentioned previously, I'm just glad to have any loose games I own in cases with a retail cover, whether it be PAL or NTSC. However, if someone has a PAL cover for a PAL game then yeah, it makes it that much sweeter.  ;D

This the style you are going for?  or grey grid, or black?  Most people seem to want purple stripes.  They are always going to have to be custom cases for GG as the original proportions do not match those of a GBA case

Here's the link - http://www.mediafire.com/view/np4i92roq0y132z/Monopoly%20PS2%20PAL.bmp

I've added it on Mel's thread for PS2 scans as well. If someone could touch it up, that's would be awesome.  ;)

Any chance you would want to do the same format for the Game Gear games on my request list?   ;D  As much as I want to wait for Shadowfox's cases, realistically it's going to be a while, and I would like to get the games in something.

The only thing stopping me right now is the fact that 90% of my GG games don't have any covers available at all and the ones that do don't have any uniformity (gray, green or purple spines).

Thanks so much Sheep. I'm down to only 4 of my 14 Game Gear games without covers. My next day off from work is Wednesday (which is also pay day :D ), so I'll get them done then and upload a pic to show off your work  8). I found a place in town that print them without any fuss. I was getting them done at Officeworks (sort of like Staples) but for copyright reasons they refused to print them but told me I could use the self-service printers. The problem with the the self-service  printers is that the fit to page can not be adjusted / taken off so the prints were too large.  :'(

I have made the covers for standard US cases (same as shadowfox.

They are being used in EU ds cases, which are 1 or 2mm thicker spine than US.  not noticeable difference.

Game Gear - Columns - Used the JPN megadrive artwork, as I couldnt find decent quality western art, and the UK/US cover is awful anyway

I like it.   ;D  You probably know me well enough by now to know that I'm more of a stickler for uniform spines.  However, it doesn't matter to me if the artwork is JP, PAL or US.

I agree. The English version was bland and boring. This looks way better Sheep.  ;D
