When I printed one out, it was not the right size. What dimensions would it be on "Paint"?

3260 pixels wide, 1370 pixels high @300DPI. or 27,60cm by 11,60cm (10,87 by 4,57 inches).
All our cover should be print ready so make sure that you don't have fit to page chosen as that will fuck the print.

I had the same problem at first and had this silly idea that I'd need to make a template on Google Docs to save it as a PDF before printing or something. I didn't understand how 300 DPI was relevant or how to make it all fit on one page at the original size.
For all future newbs with the same problem, the solution is in the print settings.
1. Before printing, open the file in MS Paint and go to File > Page Setup.
2. Change paper size from "Letter" to "Legal".
3. Set orientation to "Landscape".
4. Centering horizontal/vertical is optional. Scale to 100% of normal size. Leave the margins as defaults.
There's a preview image on the Page Setup window showing a white box (the page) with a dotted line (the margin) and a gray box with an X reaching from corner to corner. The gray box represents your image. As long as it shows within the margin area, it should print just fine.

Add to that:
These instructions apply to all approved covers and nearly all the ones found on boards.
0. Check the DPI if it says 300 all is as it should be.
4B. If at step 0 the DPI was 96 use scale 32, if it was 72 use scale 24.
5. Make sure that fit to page is off.

for DS cases just copy the pictures onto a word document and right click on the picture and select size position and make sure it has the following parameters and print in Legal size and set orientation to landscape.

Hello, Would anyone be able to tell what is the best type of legal paper to print these ds covers on to get close to the originals? I was wanting my private collection to be as close to the originals as possible. Thanks!

I think this might be good:
