Hello all,
I have been a lurker here for far too long now and since I have very much got into creating my own SFC covers, I thought I would finally give something back to this very giving community!
I use elements of a Shenske SFC template but then try to go for a "close to retail" look in terms of images, backs of boxes, spine art and overall colour scheme.....but in most if not all, I have added my own touches like added images to spines and front covers, the re-incorporating of spine art that is actually part of the front cover (like the 1st party games do) to make a really cool coherent whole image.
So, I hope you guys like them........I am not claiming to be an amazing "artist" here, some of them have some pretty ropey scans in them as they were/are the only ones I can find (usually the backs of boxes) but some I think are pretty damned nice looking.
I simply make these for my own enjoyment and display and if anyone likes the style/format I am using, and/or if anyone would like me to make some covers for them then just post in here (as my many happy customers so far have!), and I shall endeavour to make up a great cover for you.

Cool, although I didnt realise this was a Sufami Turbo game........bit more of a change and challenge than I thought but I am LOVING doing it! lol.
Just being really panickety and tidying up every single area to make the colours more solid without all the dead and messy pixels that are on those images on a microscopic level.
I am making it as close to retail as possible, so it will have the Sufami Turbo style spine, if you dont want that and would like to look like the others above instead then let me know........just thought you might like the authenticity of having the original style.
Should be done after I have a dinner break.

Ok Banisher, here you go man...........hope you like one of them at least.
First one is the "true" to original retail style that I prefer but I also made up one that also has the SFC logo and has the company logo and cat. number at the bottom of the spine.
Although I prefer the first one, I do have an issue with the gold T at the bottom of the spine.....as I could not find a really good quality image of that, so had to take it from a picture of a stack of Sufami Turbo games, lol......so its not exactly in keeping with the quality of the rest of it.
Anyway, let me know what you think, and if you have any alterations you would like done or any other covers you are after.....let me know, as I probably enjoy doing these a bit too much. lol.

Right, here you go JB.
The images I managed to get hold of, whilst larger and clearer than the ones you posted up there, were still not perfect and I was not able to clean them up as best as I would with higher res ones.
However, I sharpened and cleaned up most of the text, logos, titles, text boxes and I think overall it looks pretty nice.
As for the style I decided to do a bit of a Konami look to it, by having the front reverse SFC text and additional character images to the side of the official cover.
I also replaced the screen shots on the back cover to make them MUCH sharper and clear.
Hope you like it overall, especially with the little extra touches I added and changed up from the retail (which is what I like to do if you look at my other SFC covers, ie: keeping it close to retail but with extras and certain changes).
If there is anything you dont like or want changed, then let me know and I can do that no problem.

Although, I do quite like this one and think is perhaps one of my best.
The only thing that is slightly bothering me is the back cover, where the best image I could find needing some cleaning up so I replaced the game footage grabs, the top logo and cleaned up the boxes that contain text but could not the larger area.
Anywho, hope you like it and if there is anything you dont, just let me know.

Excellent, really glad you like it.........getting there with Turtles, just probably wont be able to do the exact retail spine as cannot find even a half way decent image for it, and its design is way too intricate for me to re-create or re-draw (its an extension of the front cover, so all kinds of buildings and drawings extending round from the front).
Still, I think youll be pleased with it hopefully.

Ok, so I actually DID end up finding a great image of the spine (and much highers res images of the front and back as well) from of all places.......Ebay! lol, literally my last resort, some seller on a sold auction a few months ago had pics that were around 3500 by 2600 pixels!!!
So, once I could get the retail spine on, I quickly realised that I did not like it being the actual spine......so I made it more like my other Konami covers and made the spine into a side picture to the cover, which is great in this case as the spine is an extension of the front anyway.
I added a pic of Splinter and Shredder to the cover spine area just to pay dues to them, then another new cartooney image (which is similar art style to the main one) on the new spine spine, cleaned up pretty much everything around the whole thing and I am pretty happy with it.
So here we go, hope this one is well received as well as the last.

No problem, here you go.
I didnt like (and even I did would find difficult to re-create) the distressed white look of the retail cover border, so decided to just go with plain white.
Also, whilst I found an amazing quality pic for the front cover, which was just the art which I then put the game and Capcom logo's onto, the best back cover image I could find was not that great.......so cleaned it up as best I could and replaced the screen shots, and pic of Samuka, so they popped nicely.

However, I was coming on here to post the 2 covers I have just finished and then say that I wont be able to create any with the kind of regularity I have recently as I have a pretty intense period of work coming up over the next 2 weeks.

That would be great yeah! as Ive just had a look a round and there are not that many good high res images for them that I can see right now.
So box scans would be fantastic, and make things a lot quicker and easier.
Make sure you get the spines (sides of the boxes) in the scan as well if you can, as that make getting them the most retail looking as possible......possible!
Especially Super Deluxe, as it has that wood effect on it, would is not something I could easily replicate or create myself.......so having a full box scan would help me with that.

You may not have noticed but I am working a lot slower than normal in terms of returning requests for people but am still fine to take them on, so check back when you can as I am fine to still requests right now.
Just to check, is it the first R-Type on the Super Famicom you want or is it R-Type III? as I already have found some amazing high res images for R-Type (or Super R-Type as it is fully known) and also, Dimension Force is on the main site here under "D-Force" =

Well, no reply on whether Geo wanted Super R-Type or R-Type III, and whether D-Force was Dimension Force for the SFC.......but I saw a thread he made in the request forum asking for both of those on SFC (different to what he asked for in here).
So I went ahead with them anyway and if they arent right then hopefully someone will get some use out them.
Also, just wanted to say (in case Banisher is reading this and thinking why am I not making covers for him but am for randoms in here, lol) it takes a lot less time and pain staking work to do these SFC covers, and as such I both enjoy them more and can obviously do them quicker.......so thats why these are popping up in my busy period when I said I would be doing many covers.

Right, as I am becoming a bit of stickler for continuity in my covers now..........I have decided to re-work all my Capcom covers.
Basically added the black bar either back in (whereas I was erasing them out in the initial ones I made) or extended them so the stretch across the whole front, spine and back. I also tidied up quite a few of them and added in the gameplay images on the spine that I hadnt included before.
So if you downloaded any Capcom covers from me before then check the first page of the thread to see if you prefer the changes (the one that hasnt changed is Street Fight Zero 2).
So will be re-uploading all those and putting them here and on the front 1st page in place of the old ones............PLUS! I made 2 new covers for Rockman X2 and X3.

Finally got round to making my FAVOURITE cover of ALL TIME........even though I already have it CIB, lol..........as I found some amazing scans yesterday for all kinds of SFC games, so went ahead with this one just for fun.
Made the 2nd spine into part of the front cover so the front and the 2 spines form one big image (like my Link to the past cover, and how I will do all Nintendo exclusive games from now on) and I freaking love it.

Also.......you havent been around for a while Geo but I finished your first Kirby cover man, took some serious work as I wanted the 2 spines intact like I have done with Metroid, and I also wanted to keep the textured background to it all........which meant A LOT of layers of that cream textured background pasted next to each other to form one whole image.
I think the finished thing had like 56 layers!!! ;D

It was a pain in the ass, so please can no-one request ones of me that require anything more than solid colour backgrounds.........so Demons Crest of Rockman and Forte!! lol.
But I hope you like it Geo, the parts where there is a solid line going up to the right hand side of the spine and also to the left of the right hand side cover SFC text are meant to be there and came directly from your scans.........I kept looking at them thinking I hadnt properly lined things up and/or tidied up dividing lines between the images! but they are supposed to be there, just a part of the wood effect I guess.

Thanks Geo but I actually have really good high quality scans for those already.........its just they will be really fiddly and awkward like these 2 Kirby ones for you.
I will get round to them as I want the games and making the covers will be an incentive for me to finally pony up the cash to buy them. ;D

Right, been wanting to make this cover for a loooooong time, as I just love and MUCH prefer the SFC artwork over the PAL and NTSC-U releases, as usual.
And I found a fantastic high res scan of the original oil painting that the SFC front cover was taken from! so very much enjoyed using and cleaning up that so it looks amazing........so much so, that I had to break my usual format in terms of borders, and just use up the whole front cover with that image and overlay the SFC text ontop of it.

Thanks man.......and the head there was just me wanting to replace the Contra logo as I didnt want or think it would look good to have the main one, the then a smaller right next to it in that black box, RIGHT NEXT to the logo being on the spine again (as that section there with the black bar at the bottom is the original spine that I like to incoporate into the cover image to make one big image, like I had done with Super Metroid, Zelda etc).
I can easily add that logo back in though, or put something else there that you would prefer?, and then re-upload as an alternate if you would like?......how about a simple flaming Contra "C" instead?
Let me know and Ill do that right away as it will take 2 minutes.

Anyway, I meant to say to you that I vastly over estimated the quality of the scans I found for it, so it is taking longer to clean up than I originally thought (as well how I get distracted by other things in life, other covers, and, well......everything).......maybe I even did mention that to you? lol.
I will have another crack at it tomorrow and post back in here with where I am at with it.
In the mean time, if you have any really good scans of it then let me know and that will speed things up a lot!

Right, wanting to do a "Mel" here and post a work in progress (or WHIP) just to prove to Antwon that I am not some useless swine who says he is doing stuff when he isnt! ;D ............I think he deserves it after all my assurances I will have his Pocky and Rocky cover done soon.
So, here is what I have so far..........man is it a bastard..........trying to get rid of all the blemishes and imperfections from the front has taken an absolute age! but I am finished with it now and although its not perfect, I think it kind of has a canvas look to it with how its ended up.
Also, I have an alternative piece or art for the front cover that I will also make a cover out of, so you will have 2 covers when I am done Antwon! but dont worry, that front is finished as well but I am saving that for the big reveal.
Now, just get the spine done and then onto the back..........which SHOULD be relatively Ok.
Hopefully have it for you tomorrow or Saturday...........hope this teaser makes you feel better about waiting for me to finish it for you. ;D

Excellent! really glad you like it man.........I spent all morning, pixel by pixel carving out the game logo (with the little Japanese text underneath it as well) for the spine.
Re-arranged some things to give it more coherence and also prepared the alternative front cover a little more.
Now, just have the back and then Im done! I shouldnt say this but..........I will DEFINITELY have it finished tomorrow for you!........barring some kind of meltdown from my Mrs regarding one of the varying things she can create drama out of, which unfortunately is not beyond the realm of possibility. lol.

Yeah............I really shouldnt have promised to finish it by today. ???
I am currently HAND DRAWING in every single Japanese letter and symbol on the back cover, and needless to say it is taking its sweet ass time.
If I had better scans to work with it would not be this labour intensive..........but it will hopefully be worth it, as it will essentially be flawless once Im done, and being able to create a near flawless cover from not very good scans is a challenge and achievement I am and WILL enjoy once Im done.
I shall keep going until I can take no more tonight and then finish it tomorrow for sure. ;D

NEVER again will I try and make a great quality cover out of not great quality images.............I am using the ONE PIXEL brush to re-draw every single Japanese letter and symbol AND THEN having to go back over everything to colour over all the distortion.
Its painful.........literally!!! my thumb and shoulder are killing me. lol.

Finally finished this beast and I have to say, I........am NEVER working with such a low res scan EVER again! lol. I also have to say, this might be my best ever cover because of the level of work I had to put into it.
With my standards now and lack of ability to accept anything less than Arseen levels of perfection, I cannot put myself through the thumb destroying level of clean up I had to do with this cover.........I have literally never worked so much and so hard on a cover previously.
So I hope you like it Antwon! lol.......if not, and there is anything you want changed or removed, then let me know and I will do........but you have 2 choices here! one with some custom art I found but both with the added images I chose to put on the front.
And just to re-confirm, I literally re-drew ALL the Japanese text on the back, and not just re-draw over every letter and symbol but then had to BACK over it all to clean up the heavy distortion that was left around all those letters and symbols.
Man.........I need a break from covers for a bit. ;D

I am watching a copy of the game on Ebay right now as it has inspired me to finally pony up the cash to get it........hopefully it wont break my wallet too badly (typically is costs about $65-85 in my region).
Thats a cool idea about the reversible, never thought of that before........I assume, depending on what method you print them, it would just be a case of sizing and printing one, doing the EXACT same for the next one and just re-inserting the already printed one the other way round in the printer tray?

Did this awhile but keep forgetting to re-post.............but I am slowly going back over my older covers to make improvement to the frankly embarrassing level of errors and mess I had many of my covers pre-discovering more Photoshop functionality (they all look fine from a normal viewing distance but when you zoom in, you see how crude my work with these was back then).
So I will be revisiting many, if not all of my covers to do clean up and generally bring them in line with my new standards and capabilities.

Not got a lot of time on my hands at the moment Im afraid Ack but I just had a quick go at this before I head to off to bed.
Thanks to Alvein who sent me his own scan, which was better quality than the one you have given me there, still had a clear dark line down where the spine folded of course but much easier to work with than the hack job the person tried to do with the scan you had.
Did a few other little clean up areas but there is quite a bit left.........if you want it all done nice and proper, I may have some time once I finish a few other requests people have asked me to do.

Also, LOL at the specific buying of cart only games, Ive done the same thing since getting into designing my own............not that I would ever turn down a bargain for a CIB games but I do often find myself debating whether its worth the extra money when I would actually enjoy making a cover for *that* game! ;D
Final Fight (I assume you mean the first yeah? as I have FFGuy on the first page) is on my list and I think I actually started on it a while back............Ill check where I got with it and see if it wouldnt be too much to finish.
Although, a lot of the guys here will probably tell me off for saying this as we have been discussing for a week or so now how over whelmed I am and that I need a break from making covers..........I guess this is my first test for resisting the urge to respond to requests!............and I guess I sort of failed already. :D

Found the one I was working on before Mpau, so finished it off for you.
Pretty damned happy with it, got the scan/cover from here actually (one of Mel's creations I think) but to be honest it still needed quite a lot of clean up all over when you zoomed in (sorry Mel, not criticizing, just saying what I felt I had to do to make it as perfect as possible).
Also, I didnt like how the characters on the lower half of the back had been clearly over coloured with white when whitening the surround area, so I decided to seek out another scan that preserved the original character detail and just whiten around them.
Yeah, just generally cleaned the whole thing up, extracted the logo from the front so I could use it for the spine and back, gave it my little "Capcom" extended black bar across the whole thing and job done.

Right, so got fed up of my work and decided to knock one of this up.
Found a couple of covers for it but did not like the quality (resolution wise), so cleaned up the front a lot and then decided to completely re-do the back.
The translation on the back was especially TERRIBLE (felt like it was either purposefully "Engrish" or just done for a laugh) so completely re-typed all that with a new font, added some nice shadowing to make it stand out, new high-res screen caps, cleaned up and shaped the ships and the HUCAST logo........and........ohh yeah, brought in the "Version 1.5" on the front and spine as no cover exists for that version, so decided to just incorporate it into this one.

Yeah, so as I am fed up of not having boxes for the eShop games.........and from not finding any for either the games I have or the region style I want them, or at best covers I dont like, I have decided to make my own.
Taken me ages making up a template, which is also including NTSC stuff but for now I am focussing on making PAL covers for myself.........but I will make NTSC versions of them later and then also expand into as many games as I can find great scans for.
Really want to build up the Wii U section as here, as it is still empty after being created a few months ago now.
Anyway, so I am pretty happy with how these turned out.........Shovel Knight especially, as I completely made up the back cover and personally think it looks pretty cool.
Let me know what you guys think and hopefully soon I can start taking a good volume of requests to really get that part of the site up and running.

Back with a BANG! (hopefully. ;) ).
My deadline passed yesterday and although it didnt go all accordingly to plan, I am now very much free for a while now and plan on getting back to enjoying making covers for both myself and anyone who needs others!
I have forewarned Banisher that I am now going straight back into solely making the NTSC-U Horizontal retails for him I'm afraid.......as I have so many outstanding covers I want/need to make for myself, and also just generally want to get back to doing things I really enjoy and was the reason I got into this in the first place!.......like SFC covers!
So, to that end...........I have wanted both this game and to be able to make this cover for a long time, and have been tinkering with it for some time until I bought the game (finally!! only took my 20 years! ha ha) recently and so once I was out the madness today, I finally finished it off.
The biggest issue I had was re-creating the textured effect of the original retail box......you guys know I like to incorporate as much original detail into these ultimately custom boxes as I can.....and I ended up just creating an effect myself with all kinds of gradients, overlays and stuff.
Its not by any means perfect but I am happy with it and at least I made an effort at re-creating it! ;D
That, combined with my usual Capcom extended black bar all the way across and some lovely 600dpi source material......I am pretty happy with it =

I have got a lot of requests of me (as well as quite a few I want/need to make for myself) but I shall add you to the ones I have been asked to do already and let you know how I am getting on.
With the ISS one, I assume you want an NTSC-U (American) Horizontal Retail of that? if so, then it would probably be best to request that in the dedicated thread for those types of covers.
In terms of the SFC ones you want.........I have Super Bomberman 4 made already!! did that ages ago, and it is on the 1st page of my thread, so check that out.
I have a great scan for Batman Returns already (I saved that a while back as I was planning on making it just because I like the SFC box art of it) and I think I either have or can get a good one for Axelay as well.......so they should not be a problem at all.

Ok JB, sorry it took so long but here is the first of the ones you requested.
Added some extra little touches (as I like to do) such as the extra comic book art on the bottom left of the front and spine.
Also re-integrated/aligned the yellow moon so it is framing the spine, rather than making up both spines on the original box.
Hope you like it and I will do my best to find the time to tackle more for you, thanks.

I have been trying to work out how to replicate the background "ROCKMAN&FORTE" text running across the entire original art of this and finally settled on a re-creation of my own........took some time to get it all to line up and look right but I am really pleased with it, and glad I did it as all other covers I have seen for this have never included it so mine is unique in that sense!
And its also cleaned up and looking all as perfect as my normal standards. :P
So that completes both my own cart only and now cover collection of ALL SFC Megaman games!!! (not including Megaman soccer........talking about REAL Megaman games!)

Been a long while huh? man, cant even begin to explain or excuse...........and unfortunately, I am not back in the way I used to be (sorry Banisher, hope the SNES retail horizontals are going well?).
Just thought I would post a couple I have made for myself recently (the only 2 I have had time for)........both of which I think were previous requests that were un-filled.
Especially proud of Hamelin no Violin as I re-drew all the black frames, re-created the textured beige background and also added in some cool little extra images.

I actually have some time off from work for the first time in over a year, and although I SHOULD be using this time to get some of my degree work done, I am too damned exhausted to start that right now so would rather do fun things. ha ha.
I will have a look around and see if there are any decent scans of Super Valis IV, or if someone has one that would help? and report back with whats what.

No worries, Im about half way done, just having trouble balancing the colour imbalance between the spines I want to re-integrate into the front and spine, along with the regular clean up stuff.........getting there though, may be able to finish it this evening, otherwise tomorrow evening. ;)

Although, we may have to revise that once I ask the next question........as I am approaching finishing this, I realise that I didnt actually check with you that it is in fact the Japanese Super Famicom cover you want right? ha ha.
I just assumed given that it is SFC that I make mostly and you said you like "my style".......but obviously I make other SNES covers, so the thought now creeps in my head that maybe you didnt want the SFC version! ha ha.

Man, so sorry it took so long, the external intrusion and also the unanticipated difficulty of some parts of making the cover up to the standards I now have to attain just for my own OCD'ish integrity (ha ha) dragged it out.
So, heres a little summary of what went on = we have a fully re-integrated spine image so it completes part of the front cover, with colour balancing and blending up the wazoo - which was the main difficulty as the spine image from the scan I have was clearly done in a different resolution and colour shading, so that took quite a while match up and blending in so the seam does not appear.
Fully clean up all over of course, removing of moire and general fuzziness, re-drawing of a lot of the Japanese symbols as they often get blurred or ruined in the copy over from original scan process.......so the only way to sharpen and clean those up is to literally re-draw them, which by now makes me feel like I could probably learn Japanese from doing so much. ha ha.
Setting and levelling of all the grey borders and frames, creating the new spine with the proper logos and then adding in the little extra spine image of the two lovely ladies (something I usually like to add outside of the original box).
So, hope you like it man and that it was worth the wait.......I am pretty pleased with it but anything you are not liking or want added/taken away then let me know and wouldnt be any trouble at this point.

Dont worry about asking direct, totally fine to do that with individuals like me who advertise that they take requests.
As you allude too, the horizontal scans you have there are in no way workable to make even a decent cover as the resolution is too low (oddly, the DPI is high on those but way too low a resolution) so would require literally redrawing the entire thing from scratch.
However, I have just had a look around my usual sources of high res. and DPI scans and found a nice looking 300 DPI PAL horizontal scan - here in case you wanted to have a look in the future = http://www.nintandbox.net/index.php/en/
Cant promise anything but if, in a few days, you get no response for a horizontal in your request thread in the request forum then I shall take it on. ;)
*EDIT* - Although, I just realise the back is in French........could translate as I have the game boxed (PAL) myself, so could simply re-type it from that........would just need to find the right font.

As always, a full clean up, sharpen and colour pop. I ended up going with the retail pink bar across the top and then utilized both the original spines on the front and back covers, then made a new spine to go in between (felt the originals were a bit busy and muddled) but added in the developer logo and a cool pic of Spidey from the same artist Mark Baguley as an extra touch.
As always, anything you dont quite like or want changed, let me know and will do that.

Ha ha!! No worries of course man, go right ahead.
I clone stamped the balls out of every square cm of that, after a couple of light filters and some colour boosting adjustments. The small text at the bottom was really messy, had a crease right the way through it all so had to redraw most of it and correct all the discolouration that creased had caused.
Really happy with how the cover image especially came out, so glad it will be of some use to you for another purpose too! Could just perhaps cut off the bottom Japanese text and use the rest for a PAL vert, it wouldnt look out of place losing that at all I dont think.

Having the game name and system name twice on the front just looks a bit odd. I know the template predates your covers, so not having a go at you, just saying....it looks odd. ;)

No worries Sheep, although Ill be honest, I hardly use "the template" any more! ha ha. Only ones that adhere to any kind of template formula are Capcom, Konami and Nintendo 1st party ones and each of those are mostly based on my own templates and stylistic choices for each.
I just like to integrate/re-integrate as much of the original retail box as possible, whilst still having some consistency with ones where I have perhaps relied on a certain style from a template.
This Spiderman one has not got a single element taken from a template, it is ALL from the original retail box and its style is just condensed and re-integrated into larger cover areas (given the difference in size and shape between SFC boxes and UGC's) so as to not have to stretch and warp the original front image to fit the front or back of a UGC based surface area.
The last few Ive made = Super Valis, Hamelin no Violin, X-Men, Rockman and Bass, Batman Returns, Demons Blazon and pretty much all of them only have one mention or instance of "Super Famicom" and/or the game title on the front and back each.........this Spidey one was just quite cluttered on the original scan, and as I prefer to preserve and bring in as much detail and style from the original as possible, it has ended up with multiple mentions of SFC.
In the end, if the main front image, the spine or spines, and whatever framing bars I choose to use have "Super Famicom" in them originally then that is how the cookie crumbles. ;)

First off these are awesome! Thanks for making them and continuing to do requests on them. It turns out I was super lucky and all of my Super Famicom games were already here except for one. If you get a chance could you make a cover for Tetris Battle Gaiden?
Unfortunately I am pretty new to the game covers and am having trouble sourcing a good scan of the box (and since I am casing the game I don't have the box to take my own pictures).
The largest front I found was a part of a photo (but it might be too banged up / small to work with):

It seems to be a very different style from the coloring of the spine and that is less true to the original packing on the back but I will keep looking to make sure I didn't overlook anything else. Thank you.

I am working on a request for a fella before your but now we have a great scan for all sides of Tetris Battle Gaiden, I shall make that my next one for you.
Any requests for style or inclusion of certain elements? as you can probably tell, I like to mix it up and have as much incorporation of original box elements as possible - rather than uniformity - so let me know if there is any particular style you would prefer and I will endeavour to meet those expectations.
Wont put a time frame on it as I shouldnt really be doing any of these given what I have going on in the real world but I am enjoying it like I used too so just working on them in my infrequent (but equally inconsistent) down time.

Ok Mr Draxzz, here you are my man.
So, front cover has been all cleaned up, filtered and sharpened.
The back I had to completely redraw all the green lines and red text boxes as it would have been a nightmare to try and sharpen and clean up so decided to skip that start from scratch! ha ha.......also retyped all text on the back including the red box yellow stuff, although it is not the precise right font it looks OK I think and is the same size.
Hope this is what you were after man, let me know if anything isnt quite right.

I couldn't find any SNES covers at all. I've found some artwork online, see the links below. I guess this one is a bit challenging because the game isn't really popular and the artwork isn't high resolution.

Another world:
There are two covers available for this game, one US and one GERMAN version. The thing is that I like the German Retail cover a lot more but it's in German (and I need it in English). Would it be possible to merge them? Using the front cover from the German version (no German text is on it) and the back-version of the US-version but then modified so it matches the PAL-style?

No problem doing these (and also merging the Another World one you said about, I like doing stuff like that. Ha ha)........but wont be until the end of August Im afraid.

No need to apologize, ever. What you're doing here is helping people out on a voluntary basis and it, at least from me, never comes with expectations. Besides, real life stuff always comes first.
If you have time and motivation to work on these covers it's great and I'll be thankful like a little kid at Christmas eve but if it doesn't work out; no problem at all! There's no time-rush either. I'll just monitor the forum and this thread over the course of time and see what happens :)

Man, far to long a time since I have been able to get on here........crazy how life enjoys kicking you when youre down huh? But I have come out of it now and although I have entered into another large life undertaking, it is giving me a lot more time and headspace to start thinking about and doing things I enjoy again.......like making covers!!
So, although I still wont be able to get back to my old glory days of churning out numerous covers/requests, I am feeling the urge to start doing some again.
I shall take a look at some of your last requests a few posts and begin tinkering.

Hello all,
I have been a lurker here for far too long now and since I have very much got into creating my own SFC covers, I thought I would finally give something back to this very giving community!
I use elements of a Shenske SFC template but then try to go for a "close to retail" look in terms of images, backs of boxes, spine art and overall colour scheme.....but in most if not all, I have added my own touches like added images to spines and front covers, the re-incorporating of spine art that is actually part of the front cover (like the 1st party games do) to make a really cool coherent whole image.
So, I hope you guys like them........I am not claiming to be an amazing "artist" here, some of them have some pretty ropey scans in them as they were/are the only ones I can find (usually the backs of boxes) but some I think are pretty damned nice looking.
I simply make these for my own enjoyment and display and if anyone likes the style/format I am using, and/or if anyone would like me to make some covers for them then just post in here (as my many happy customers so far have!), and I shall endeavour to make up a great cover for you.
