Has anyone ever made a North American cover for this famicom game? I can't seem to find one anywhere. If anyone knows of one, please post where. If anyone would be willing to make one, a horizontal NA version would be awesome.

a search for Lodoss tou Senki leads to a twitter *cough* X *cough* image that is used for the cover. I think that the Record of Lodoss War logo is crappy. One could probaably use a similar gothic font to that which is used on the sfc cover. I made a quick template for someone to use if that poste cover is appealing. I added the sfc logo to the spine.

I hate that run-on sentence text on the back of that posted cover. We need to find someone that can read and type Japanese to copy-and-paste the text into Google translator. I tried to find individual characters and i got 18 of them but it is too much work since i cannot read, write or type Japanese. Google translated text: "a cursed island has expanded the history of war".

so i also located a similar font for the Record of Lodoss war text. I also adjusted the template to accomodate this change.

I used to have access to a person who translated manuals for me for minor fee (50c per page IIRC) but the site is long gone.
Well one could start learning Japanese with say Duolingo... Too bad they don't have message boards anymore.
They created unofficial boards but I can't remember the URL now. Duome or something. Maybe we'll find help there.
Or I can whip some better suitable text description for the game.

Hi Arseen, i will continue collecting characters until i build the text myself if i cannot find help with translation. I will try a few language forums. If you have text in mind then we can make several versions. I am recreating the sfc dragon logo at 2484x1160 pixels. I need time to perfect it but we can also use that logo on a custom cover if desired. I am currently playing the game trying to find the screen captures.
I did not forget about your Claymates cover art. I had three operations in four years on my arms. I lost alot of weight and muscle. I started body building to get back in shape, which is time consuming. I had an operation on my right elbow which is bad because i am right-handed. I could not use a computer mouse for 1.5 years due to the operation. The Doctor also cut a nerve, so i still have some issues with pain and discomfort but i can use a mouse again. LOL.
Anyway, Thank you for addressing the translation question and offering to help. No worries, i will keep hammering at it while working on art for a cover.

I finally finished the logo today. Here is a new cover with the logo on the back. I had to add a shadow around the logo to create a bit of separation from theat giant gray snes image.

Nice job on the cover! One errata, it's 'Parn' and not 'Pan' :)
I was looking for an OVA (dub) episode, where you have a voice over before the episode begins which tells about Lodoss, the accursed isle. Maybe some inspiration for this text too, but so far I can't find it!

Also, thank you for pointing out the spelling error. I have corrected the spelling and i also selected a different font. I also added the Japanese titles to the spine. Let me know if you spot any other problems.
The back text is simply a translation of the text on the back of the Japanese super famicom cover. I was able to find a Japanese website with this text.

I do not like the idea of using a dvd cover instead of original artwork. I have no idea why anyone would like the concept since the game is from the super famicom time period. Anyway, i decided to make my own version using the original artwork from the cartridge as a basis for recreation. Let me clear, no Photoshop, no touch up tools, no plugin work. I redraw the characters and color them in, id est, from scratch.
I spent a week redrawing this image and coloring it in. I am finally finished. I'll post a preview image. I think that my idea is better, so i made a version for myself. The dvd image has nothing to do with the sfc game.
