Title: Project: Disk2Polycase
Post by: PinBiohazard on April 30, 2014, 08:17:31 PM
Anyone have any games from newer consoles (Ps2 onwards) which they would want Done in a polycase format, I'm currently doing a DBZ BT2 for PS2 but once I've done that i will need some ideas (using PS1 polycase template), but would love to get criticism and if good enough people using them?

As the ps2 manuals won't fit in them, I doubt most people would want to switch.  Much easier to find a replacement DVD case and pit it in there for disc only games.

I know that, that's why the manuals will be in a secure safe location, plus i will get extra shelf space  ;)

What I'm using for PS2 games in poly cases. Going for a uniform PS1 look. PS3 games are the same deal, just with red. BTW, before I get reamed by the admin for the custom disc label for Mega Man, ignore that -- just pay attention to the cover for demo purposes lol. (But if it's that much of a freakin' issue, go ahead and remove it lol -- I'll post disc-less images later)

As far as manuals go, they are stored in my closet. I'm making "quick guides" that are the size of a CD booklet that have control schemes, tips, and cheat codes for fast access so I won't have to stop to Google something. It's a ton of work, but it's worth it. Poly cases from LDB Mart actually have clips to hold that stuff, so I'd suggest going there for the cases.

They $18.00 for 100. They have black, semi-clear (shown), and super clear.

I have a lot of PS2 games I still need to make covers for. I got Ridge Racer V off ebay a few months ago for like 3 bucks. It had no case or manual, but I didn't care because I was doing this LOL.

Really cool concept. I like it even though it's not my style.
