I did make one mistake: I scanned the manual at 300DPI, is this wanted to be rescanned at 600DPI?

Chaos Seed is the most expensive SFC game I've ever bought, won it at a yahoo japan auction for around $80 USD. Back then, I was very excited as well with the progress of the translation, I'm glad it finally got released :)
Also, thanks for sharing the scans, I was too lazy to unbind my manual ;D

I think I paid about same, too lazy to check.
And as my new scanner seems to be much faster I knowI will continue scanning the manuals (old one was so slow that was thinking of stopping scanning them unless asked).

the problem is, at this moment i can not even make a custom cover...
I try to learn it, i need more time to make cover in a good quality.
All tutorials here in english when i found a member here who can speak german i would make faster lern progress.

Unfortunately I'm out of cover making for a while as my TV broke.
My temporary TV is such piece of crap that I can't judge the quality well enough to make covers.
Hopefully this pause is short.

Both.
I used 47" Full HD TV as monitor until it broke
The one I use now is 42" Full HD, but the colors are somewhat off and flux.
I'm currently torn between fixing the one I had if it's not too exzpensive, or buying 55" or 65" Ultra HD (= 4K) telecision as a replacement.
If latter I'll also have to upgrade my computer to take advance of the added resolution.

Get a nice 1440p IPS monitor and a regular 1080p TV for watching movies. Wait a couple years for 4k content and graphics cards that can actually push games at 4k properly.

Limited space so one screen only.
Besides I have gotten so used to do computer stuff on 47" TV that any smaller looks insufficient.
Ands I don't play on PC, exept solitaire and occasinal trying of NES/SNES hacks on emulators.

With Arseen's scans I should be able to make a cover for this. Considering I'm going to eventually buy this repro anyways. Just give me a few hours and I'll post it up here.

Perfect, but please do a good job and do zoomed out front (you'll have to build the image bit side ways to do this) instead of too zoomed in (which is the easy way out).
Also do not distort the image.

The cover artwork looks shrunk.

Yes the front image is a little distorted. The sfc box from which the image was scanned is vertical, like many sfc boxes.
In order to make it fit a US retail box, the image had to be altered a little.

Im a noob. I've only been making covers for about a month now.
Still learning new things.
Try building the front by increasing the white cloud area on the sides.
Also try not to cut away part of the logo.

best example is fan translation from "Secret of Mana 2", many people work years on this project and the fucking bastarts sell repros on ebay!

Treasure of the Rudras and a proper Secret of Mana 2 translated from the original Japanese. Not the absolute shit that people are selling now.
Anyway, turns out I just had some art resources for this game made up and the start of a box. No UGC or anything, had a spare hour or so before I head out for some drinks so thought
I'd smash it out for you.

a example, i have chrono trigger original NTSC and original SFC, i have manufacture a German translation Chrono Trigger Repro and i use the case from the SFC cardridge, rocks perfect ;D ;)
only problem is from the fanmade games like Starfox 2 (Starwing 2), Zelda BS etc...
for this we have this great site :-)
