Funny movie.
Too bad the game is somewhat dissappointing.
WAY shorter and easier than previous (Marvel Heroes) or actually any of the previous ones.
They'd need to do true sequel to Lego City undercover THE BEST LEGO GAME EVER SO FAR!!!

In all seriousness, I know what you mean. But I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt just because I don't know these people personally, and I don't want to assume that everyone that needs a cover insert for a game that just came out is a criminal.

I don't own the game yet. Probably will wait for prices to go down a bit before I buy it.
But as for why I need the cover, I don't absolutely need it. I've started printing them for a "collage" of sorts, and have almost every ps4 game that has been released so far included.

How is the evil within segamer? Seeing Lots of mixed reviews.
Going to give drive club a bit more time, and have sleeping dogs to play through before I even think about it.
I am not overly impressed with drive club atm.

I'm not happy with it. I love Shinji Mikami games but Evil Within is so... unpolished. The performance on PS4 is horrendous! The game start off at 20fps (outside). When you get inside (enclosed area), it's an inconstant 30fps (many frame dips). Controls are sluggish! There's a lot of texture pop-in and jaggies. When there's a few enemies on screen, performance takes a nosedive. If you pretend it's a last generation game, it's fine but if you expect next generation level performance, it's not there. Gameplay is OK but the technical issues are breaking the game for me.

If you are talking about uploading it to the site, try sharing an image in the forums first to get feedback. Mediafire and box.net are usually considered the best sites for sharing these files. If it passes site standards, the adminds can help you get it hosted on the site.
If you have a scan, definately share it in the forums so others can use it to make a cover.

Not too bad except the left edge was not scanned right.
If you look closely at the scan there is jump in the scan (see the boxes that say 2 players and online play).
Try putting the cover more straight in the scanner and add hard cover book and bit more weight

I was going to explore cleaning your cover for the main website but there was a problems, the complete cover wasn't scanned. The edge's and bottom were cropped. In addition, because they're scanned at 300 dpi, it impossible to clean the moire. Can you place your covers in the scanner bed so the edges don't get cropped out? In addition, can you scan your covers at 600 to 1200 dpi? And don't use the PDF format; use jpegs. Thank you!

I'm on my pad. The bottom portion and side are cropped. Put the cover in the center of the scanner, not the edges. It's ok if it's not symmetrical, that can be fixed afterwards. Put a few books on it to get it as flat as possible. Use noise reduction if it's an option. If Your scans can be used to create covers for the main website, I'll give you the credit. 600 dpi or higher.

Covers were scanned at 600dpi with a heavy book and a fat PS3 on top of it to maximize flatness and are in .jpg format. Again, if I need to re scan any of them, I will do so. Thanks for your patients.

Generally, proper centering, cropping, contrast adjusting, cleaning and polishing. Of course, they have to be the proper resolution and dpi according to site standards.

I have a habit of tucking away all my special boxes etc. for my PS4 games until I have more shelf space to let them breath. So I made this cover to house my copy of Rise of the Tomb Raider for the time being. Since the sleeve is holographic, it didn't exactly scan the greatest. So I found high res images of the front of the box art and rebuilt most of the elements of the back from my scan. Retyped all the text etc. Turned out pretty good IMO.

hum... not sure what I could change that. I actually made a topic about scanning back when I got my scanner (see here: http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=17462.0) and the TLDR is the only setting I used when scanning is descreen.

No problem! The physical release is a bit obscure but GameStop is starting to sell them pretty cheap used so might be worth picking up a copy if you see one.

I want to print some custom covers for games I have on PSN (The ones you buy, not the PS+ ones cuz everybody knows they ain't yours) but I don't think there is a thread made for this kinda topic. So can we post them here since they're technically PS4 games, or would they need to be elsewhere? I know this sounds kinda nuts, but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that wants to do this and hopefully others will get in the mix once they see it getting done. Now for something a little different... The amazing Battle Garegga got a physical release in Korea and while you don't really need to be able to read Korean to understand how to play the game, there are a fair amount of settings / menus in Korean. Fortunately, M2 provided an English manual on their website... (http://m2stg.com/en/battle-garegga/ps4/manual/) but it's not really printer friendly... Until now!
I took the online manual and created a printable, English manual for Battle Graegga. This should fit just fine in a PS4 case also. When you print it, make sure to select double sided printing and to flip on the short side. This should print out fine on standard letter sized paper.
This is my first time trying to do a manual so hopefully it turned out ok.

Hey all! Great news, I have returned from the dead! Finally back on my feet again. I have made some great progress in rebuilding my game collection, and I have finally replaced my scanner. Below are some raw scans of games missing from the main site. I want to note that for some reason, the scanner has scanned them in PDF format and I am unsure of how to change this. I don't imagine this will be much of an issue to most of us, but if for some reason it is, please let me know and i'll figure out how to correct them. My old scanner automatically scanned them as jpg, so I've never had this issue prior to now.

Just got a couple of replacement PS4 Blu-ray cases today, and ended stumbling upon this cool little site and thought I'd download the artwork for the games' cases I had lost. I ended up finding Destiny 1, but I couldn't find artwork for Steep (gold edition if any you guys have it, no biggie if not though), or for Borderlands The Handsome Collection. I did find a version of Steep's cover art, but the quality is questionable. If any one on here has access to these two games' box art, language does NOT matter, it'd be AMAZING if you could upload these. Thanks!

Awesome, but I won't deny I'm noticing some fairly heavy macroblocking in header, I'm curious, what DPI are you scanning these at by chance? I do 600 DPI for most of mine.

I scan at 600 DPI but was using a seperate asset for the the top header for the front and spine that was at a lower quality. Didn't catch it it seems. I fixed it up and have the headers looking real nice now. (Just made it from scratch) I updated my original post to show and link to the improved covers. Thanks for the heads up!

Those aren't scan lines, they are unfornately something in the template I'm using, I don't find it to be that big of a deal honestly.

Huh that is really weird, they must have used a VERY low resolution png of their own logo or something then, but yeah you can see how misaligned and blurry it is, alright well thank you anyway! :)

New cover, So I completely forgot I had this game till a friend was asking me about an anime and thought this game was based off that said anime, turns it wasn't but the main characters shared very similar designs and her asking me about the other anime completely jogged my memory and hadn't got to this sooner, whoops :P

I couldn't find these anywhere on the forums so I used GIMP and took what I could from the VITA box art scans and remade some of the stuff on the back to put them together since I needed box arts for these. First thing I would check is that when printing the fit to page option is off and scaling is at 100.

Hey, I took my own scan of TLOU2 and changed the front cover to one of the game's consept arts in case anyone wants a different front than retail. I dont like the front cover it shipped with so Im personally gonna be using my edit instead

one suggestion since you put so much time into this already, make the blacks match, the spine and the back are off from each other and its distracting.
Otherwise pretty cool cover.

At preview your scans look good, but could you try flattening the cover bit more.
You can see fold shadows on the spine.
And you can scan the covers with bit of margins on the sides so we can be sure whole cover is scanned and artists have bit leeway when editing them.

you just have to be careful of the Colorful paper you put in there because it would skew the color of the cover art you're scanning.
I cheat and have .25" boxes with .5 pt black stroke at the corners, it does a full scan with no weird color interpretation.

Thank you, I greatly appreciate that, please know that I work as hard I can give the community the most accurate and high resolution/DPI scans I can give, yes I understand at times my colors be a bit darker then say what is shown in the promotional box art shown off by the company but the reality is often the covers are a bit darker in person then say this ->

I've noticed you've been uploading a bunch of PS4 covers lately, and that's great. But I would suggest trying to put more weight down on your covers while scanning to get them perfectly flat as pretty much all of them have pretty bad spine glare. This can be a pain to clean up.

What are the standard dimensions for PS4/PS5/Criterion Blu-ray cases? For the front/back and the spine as well as the overall dimensions?
There are also 17mm and 22mm variants of the PS4/PS5/Criterion Blu-ray cases but they are only used for some Criterion releases.

Apologies for the quality, my scanner is very old now, plus I don't know how to get rid of the spinal glare or whatever it is.

To get rid of the spinal glare, just put something hard and heavyish like hardcover book (bigger than the cover but smaller than the scanner bed) on it when scanning.

I found that really helped me. I use a ream of paper.

What has always worked for me for that perfect flat scan is after laying down the insert i put a magazine on top of it and close the lid then I throw on a heavy object (I use an old OG XBOX lol). Perfect flat scans most of the time.

And tell printer what type of paper you use so you don't get washed out / stripy or ink soaked prints.
