thanks to his friend @sheep2001 without your help it would not be possible to complete the work Spectravision.
Does anyone make an Atari 2600 flash cart? Or an Atari 7800 flash cart? For the 2600 there's the Harmony cart which is fantastic; I own one and it plays pretty much everything. There's no flash cart currently being made for the 7800 though there's one planned (the Harmony 2). Ten years ago there was the Cuttle Cart 2 but those haven't been made in forever and they sell for $300+ these days.
Wow these are great, 1980coelho is there anyway to get these back online? It looks like the links no longer work :(
Thank you SO much! This just saved me so much time. I will take that and make a Custom Cover for the Atari template on the site. Is it worth trying to upload to the site as officials or would they not be accepted?
Hey lumber!
Good to have you back.
On the small previews those templates look great!!!!
If all the elements used are high rez I don't see why that template shouldn't become the new standard for doing retail/custom covers for the good ol' Atari.
Your custom 2600 covers are awesome, Lumberjack! Could you post a link to your custom 7800 covers as well? Pleeeease???
All of my finished covers are here (https://app.box.com/s/ijvqhse10ezamfxdcsku) if you want to give them a more thorough look.

Your work is definitely appreciated, though. Not many covers I've done make it on the site, but I know that others have enjoyed my work and that's good enough for me.
Now if we only had some Sears Telegames covers! :)
Now if we only had some Sears Telegames covers! :)
If I had some good scans of them, I could make some.
You think you could work with any of these?
http://www.mediafire.com/folder/fmyufka7kj248/Atari2600/
These are all 600 dpi, and I used descreen. Let me know if there's something I can be doing better scanning wise. The colors seemed a little dull compared to the real boxes (chase and codebreaker for example are a much more vibrant green), but I didn't want to make anything worse so I left it as it originally scanned.
Taking a break for a while, but I need to get these packed up soon for our move so I'll probably resume tonight. I have about 3 more Telegames boxes, and then an assortment of other random 2600 games in the queue.
Finally got all my 2600 boxes scanned and uploaded to my mediafire account (http://www.mediafire.com/folder/fmyufka7kj248/Atari2600).
Here's what's available:
Sears Telegames
Arcade Golf
Baseball
Blackjack
Brain Games
Chase
Codebreaker
Outer Space
PacMan
Pong Sports
Speedway II
Tank Plus
Target Fun
Atari US Gen.1
Asteriods
Space Invaders (pretty rough, figured it might at least be good for reference material)
Star Raiders (big box front & back + front of small box, the smaller box was still glued shut at the bottom and I couldn't bring myself to open up the bottom to flatten it)
Video Pinball
Activision
Enduro
Froggo
Sea hunt
I've managed to find covers for all of my 2600 games. However, 10 of my games are a different style than what I would prefer. I like having all of my spines match each other for any given system. If I cam up with a list and an example of the style I'm looking for, would anyone be willing to convert those covers (or at least just the spines)?
Huge thumbs up on these. I wanted to start making these myself, but getting away from the NES stuff to do it has been difficult.

Good work! There was on small mistake in the directory for Spike's Peak/Artillery Duel. It came out Spkie’s Peak/Artillery Fire. If you don't get to it, I'll try and fix it later.
UPDATE: FIXED
NOTE: Noticed that Pong Sports was categorized under Video Olympics. Same game?
2nd Note: Also, Arcade Pinball is under Video Pinball. Same game? Looks like the same artwork. Just wondering?

GameFaqs reqoqnises Video Olympics and Video Pinball, but not Pong Sports nor Arcade Pinball.

Google finds Pong Sports and it seems same as Video Olympics.
Thougth I'd share all my 2600 retail style covers I have printed (most of these designed by LumberJack42). I now need a bigger shelf.

I'm curious, how do you store your manuals? I just tested the larger Atari manuals with graphics and found they do not fit within a UGC. ???
I've been trying to decide if I should put my 2600 games in UGCs or these small cases for data tapes (https://www.amazon.com/LTO5-Ultrium-3TB-Data-Tape/dp/B003F8MT5I/) (a buddy works at a datacenter). They fit beautifully in the tape cases, and I made a template for them, but manuals obviously won't fit. (The only exception in my collection is M Network cartridges, which use adapted Intellivision shells.)

I'm not sure how I'm going to store manuals yet. 80% of my Atari carts were loose anyway. i think the Sears Telegames manuals were the only ones small enough to fit inside UGCs. I might try printing off the text versions from Atari Age.
I've found the manuals fit on the outside of a ugc under the sleeve. I've printed out about 15 grey covers today so I'll see how they fit with the cover art. Not a great solution since you can't easily get the manual, but at least it's there
picked this up so if anyone needs scans

I would love to get scans of all those you picked up.
the deal was so so but I figured that the boxes were in excellent shape so couldn't resist
Polaris is the only one with a sticker on the front...probably 2x3
I will do scans for keystone kapers and pressure cooker
any others that are needed aaron-hagel?
I apologize for my absence. Life can get crazy sometimes but I just uploaded the following games:
3D Tic-Tac-Toe (3 versions)
Activision Decathlon

Big Bird's Egg Catch (with and without Kid's Controller sticker)
Blueprint
Cookie Monster Munch (with and without Kid's Controller sticker)

Just uploaded the following:
Dolphin
Pressure Cooker
Sorcerer
Star Fox
Crystal Castles
Galaxian (cleaned up version)
Sky Diver (Sears)
Dodge Em (Sears)
Basketball (Sears)
Adventure (Sears)
3D Tic-Tac-Toe (Sears)
Defender (Sears)
Berzerk (Sears)
Bowling (Sears)
Circus Atari (Sears)
I've been hoping for an Activision Dolphin cover for a long time! I'm also very excited to see the Sears Adventure cover! Those are some of the last 2600 games I own without box art.
I did notice a little glitch in the text on the front of the Dolphin cover. The "Video Computer System" text has a 2 pixel high line of distortion that goes across the length of the front cover. Perhaps it happened during the upload process or something? I downloaded it a few times to make sure it wasn't an issue on my end. Anyway, it's a tiny blemish on a beautiful cover. Please don't think I'm not incredibly appreciative for ALL the covers you've created!
That was weird. My copy was clean so I reupped it but it just added a second copy and wouldn't let me replace the one that's there.

Yeah, I'm not going to pay Photobuckets ransom so preview pics from several years ago are just lost, that's why I don't post IMANDIX previews anymore.. If you are looking for a specific cover, check the side panel or do a forum search. Otherwise, you can make a request in the Request Forum and if a raw exists, I can make a cover for it.

Did you ever share your Universal Atari Template in the forums? I have your Universal Nintendo Template and it's great!
I've leeched quite a few covers over the past year so thought I should start contributing.
Any comments or suggested changes welcome.
I know it's been a while since I've posted something and with not being able to upload to the site directly,I'm sharing a box folder (https://app.box.com/s/drplb08uaa2wqmttd4kfja1qht2gi9pp) of all the covers I haven't posted yet.

It's like Christmas! Thanks for Sharing, also awesome you have telegames versions of othello and demons to diamonds, I think we're only a handful away form having covers for them all!
Wow LumberJack, looks like I'm going to need to buy another box of UGCs now!
I see this as a form of preservation, so it's awesome these exist. Kudos on the Mogul Maniac cover as well!
Also, I just scanned Wizard of Wor this weekend but I hadn't uploaded it yet! XD
Does anyone have a list of Atari 2600 covers not done yet?
I've made 100+ covers over the past few months and i'll post any that haven't been done
Thanks in advance

Great idea, as i'm sure there are lots of people doubling up on doing these covers, especially with people like Lumberjack and 1980Coelho churning them out at the moment, however, it would be quite an undertaking to get a comprehensive list, as in many cases there are 3-4 different retail variants, plus a sears variant, plus a TCP silver spine variant, and any other custom versions. I love working on 2600 covers and would be up for getting covers done towards a full complement being hosted here.
A quick google search tells me there are around 250 titles, if we say an average of 3 covers per game, that's going to mean creating a list of over 700 covers. :o

Yeah I know what you mean..... I'm really enjoying working on the Atari 2600 covers at the moment and have noticed while trying to find source material that there are quite a few variations for some covers with different regions etc.
I guess what I could do is make a similar post that Lumberjack made a few posts back with the Developer/Publisher and a list of all the covers I've made under it, and a link to my AppBox.
As you said there are probably going to be quite a few in my list that have already been done, but hopefully a few that haven't.
I always keep all the PSD's so any suggestions on alterations, mistakes or quality issues can easily be rectified.
Got a few more here (https://app.box.com/s/drplb08uaa2wqmttd4kfja1qht2gi9pp). Just 4 short on a complete Sears set.

This is so awesome, always amazed how much you're able to clean up the less than stellar scans.
Quick question sheep, why did you change the spelling of "Subterranea" to "Subterrania?"
I didn't know if it had another release with that spelling that I wasn't aware of. I had only seen one cover for it prior to yours.Quick question sheep, why did you change the spelling of "Subterranea" to "Subterrania?"
Obviously just a typo on my part.
A few of these are in sheep's account
