Title: SD Card - Nintendo DS Cover Art Request
Post by: h8b1llg8ts on January 18, 2012, 02:44:14 AM
I've searched the forum and didn't see any other request like the one I had. Close with the whole flash card request but here it goes:

I was looking for some custom cover art for DS cases that might look like NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, Sega CD, 32x, Neo Geo box art; to name a few.

My intention is to have these SD cards loaded with only games from the particular system. And I was going to use the new Red DS boxes to differ them from my other DS and 3DS games.

Kind of what you've done with the generic DS looking cases:

But something maybe with a little more flash when it comes to the console version. I hope that makes sense.

When you get time, could  you make some these for individual games for each system?

are you going to put 1 tiny rom on an SD card?   seems a bit wasteful

i can do it if you really want..  what games?

Re-reading the original post did you actually want them in the NDS template at all?  I had assumed it was for emulation on your NDS, but now I'm thinking it might be for just storage of rom collections, so ds case size,  but branded as per the original console?

I found a website that sells flash drives in the 100 MB range for a reasonable price.

I would prefer to have the Nintendo DS portions of these covers replaced the entire cover of the games in my list.

Here is a lsit of games that I want converted:

Super Mario World
Super Metroid
Chrono Trigger
Donkey Kong Country
Donkey Kong Country 2
Donkey Kong Country 3
Super Punch-Out!
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Secret of Mana
Super Mario RPG
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
The Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask
Super Mario Brothers
Super Mario Brothers 2
Super Mario Brothers 3
Paper Mario
Super Mario 64
Sin and Punishment
TMNT
Yoshi’s Story
Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen
Ogre Battle 64
Alien Soldier
Sonic the Hedgehog (Master System)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Sonic and Knuckles
Castlevania: Rondo of Blood
Magician Lord
Star Fox 64
The King of Fighter ‘94
Megaman X
Megaman X2
Megaman X3
Gunstar Heroes
Faxanadu
Megaman 2
Contra: Hard Corps
Super Smash Brothers
Final Fantasy 3/6

Exactly, I'm running it on another Nintendo home console "wink, wink" so if the Nintendo DS part was removed it looks perfect.

Question, once uploaded what section would I find to download them?

you won't find them on the boards as they aren't for any real releases - i'll upload them to my box.net account once done, but won't be until next week at the earliest as i have some friends flying in today - and i plan to be quite drunk for the next few days!  ;D

I want to scrap my original idea of making these covers for each invidial game and follow the original poster's idea instead.

To whomever is making this project, Here are hte templates that I would like for my covers:

Genesis:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/146/2pre.jpg/

SNES:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/147/snesprevo3.jpg/

Master System:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/222/ms3premh8.jpg/

Neo Geo:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/132/ngtemppreje2.jpg/

NES:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/689/nestemp80spre.jpg/

N64:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/137/vn64palpre.jpg/

TG16:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/181/tg16tm9.jpg/

Even though these console are not on the Virtual Console yet, they might be on it when the Wii U launches, so I would like these as well:

Gamecube:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/181/wiicubecf4.jpg/

Saturn:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/168/segasaturntemplatevt102yt5.jpg/

Dreamcast:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/367/tempusawhiterp1.jpg/

The cover of each connsole should have the picture of the console itself with the name of the console where the game's name would normally go.
